Maybe i can help, I love textureing. Here is my ship I
did the other day(only the front).I'm not working on a
mod, but rather an actuly metroid 3d game. Its a no
FPS, and I plan to make molds out of most Metroid
item, figures, and charicters.

Turret, I totally overlooked the topic. I have a metroid skinned in maya.
Its in parts. Dome, Right/left claw. Front claws, and inards. I dont have a handy screen shot. But I could give you the textures and model to match. Let me know..

I agree. One thing kinda like that would keep things interesting. Maybe to make it more interesting, throw in some swarms of monsters to keep both teams on its toe.

Assault and Invasion at the same time? Brings back memories of some UT '99 maps...although the monsters always came after me, even when they where supposed to be on my side. They even tried to jump up and grab me when I was using Fly.

But if the monsters could be scripted right, that would make an awesome map.

Also a metroid invasion mode sounds AWESOME...
so if a coder want to give a hint, I could model later some enemies from the Metroid series.

Sure

Just to let you know though, the model doesn't use any custom animations, so it wouldn't really work well as an invasion monster unless someone made some.

I'm not sure if anyone said this but Here it goes....

What about the other Bounty Hunters.
Like if you were to make a Mod for UT2k4 that is like the Nintendo DS game Metriod Prime Hunters. But that just me.

I want to know where Kanden, Spire, Trace, Noxus, Sylux, and Weavel is.
Too Bad you can't moph though. That would so kick AZZ and Advance UT. hehe
