Let me rant about your loadout!

I have recently discovered the sweet joy of the Shotgun. In CQB maps like Siberia/Peru, it simly makes me beg for more. The tense moments when you've dispatced enemies but don't have time to reload (MAN IT EATS TIME), switching to handgun... It just introduces that exciting feeling...
The M3 w 14 rounds, handgun w 2mags and 3 nades. Does me good.

Some of the best players I know use the shotty, not with a pistol, but with a smg of some kind. Hatter uses p90/shotty, flack uses AK/shotty.

I've seen people have a shotty and a robar, and I've tried that loadout myself...but not only did it not perform as well as a p90/robar it is friggin heavy...

I couldnt get max bulk no matter what I did.

The only problem is that shotty/smg loadouts get really heavy unless you skimp on the ammo. The shotgun's reload time is really ridiculous...I'd throw it as soon as it runs out of ammo.

Too bad that damn shotty isn't affected by movement penalties, or I would use it a bit more myself on teh non-RA servers.
I like the reload, tho, its exactly how I would reload one in life, although the guy can do it alot faster then I can.

i use many different loadouts but its usually a sig with something... i most of the time use a sig with a shotgun or a p90 but sometimes i use this loadout which i am quite sucessful with is a Robar with a /shotty

I usually use a mini-gun, flak cannon, dual enforcers, rocket launcher, bio rifle, sniper rifle, and a pulse cannon. For special occasions, I add the ripper.

I wouldnt know this crap but i found a cool matrix mutator for ut. lets you do bullettime and wall running and the such

good for those 15 minutes a day that you have extra but you cant play inf since you'll be playing for 3 hours.

if you want the mutators just icq me minion...they are both really small, but its pretty neat

the links on the net are really broken now

you can do all the matrix moves like freezing in midair, the super jumping, and the wall running. and the bots cant. Also you are not affected by bullet time so dodging the minigun bullets is really fun.

basically when i feel like owning godlike bots which i could never otherwise beat i play some ut.

and for god sake let this post die!

MatrixMoves is the name of that mutator. There is also one called LazyMatrix One does the fancy matrix moves and crap (wall running, cartwheeling, back flipping, forward flipping, high jumping....etc) the other does the periodic bullet time/bullet ripple effect.

I used to play with these during my UT days.

seriously though with my AK or P90 loadout half the time i use the robar for long range recon...i dont even shoot the thing


How hard is it for someone to make a binoculars mutator??
seems simple enough just get a zoomable thing like the robar

SHotty p90

Ive been using a shotty/p90 loadout recently, but i only have 2 clips for the p90 and 1 reload for the shotty, and no nades.....keeps my bulk down....when 2.87 comes out the ak/shotty and p90/shotty loadouts are gonna cause you to run as slow as snails and runoutta breath in 30 seconds....unless you lose the excess nades and ammo

I can get any 2 guns to work in a loadout (max bulk still) but no matter how hard I try I cant fit in the damn shotty. At least not with any appreciable amounts of ammo.

Just as well since I cant use the shotty.

Do you really need maximum allowable clips for your guns. In any one round I have never went throught more than 3 clips on a P90. Usually only using 2. My pistol backup I never go through more than 2 usually only 1. If you hit what you aim for rather than spraying in the general direction you wouldnt need as much ammo...Not that you do that...thats a generalization....but really for a 4 minute average match do you need 225 rounds in one gun and 45 in another
