But I'm quite pleased with an 80% frag efficiency, and I do believe that, in some situations, I used my lag to my advantage. However, with a shared T3 at Uni or a 2MB connection at Home, I think the lag has passed

I'm still unable to confirm my attendance. I don't know whether Uni will give me a load of coursework to do over Easter or not, etc.

Ryanair: London Stanstead - Eindhoven 46.68 GBP (incl. taxes).
Flight directly to Eindhoven (from there you will be picked up for a 15 minute drive to the JELP).

I don't think going by car (ferry/train) will be cheaper then that.

I would love you to come too!!! I don't think that going by car is going to make it cheaper, I have looked into the fairs and here is what I found. I calculated 3 peeps and a car going by Ferry!

I know that you cheapest way to come is via Ryanair! If you looked at KLM, the flight it is indeed expencive = GBP 172.20** per person.

I also took a look at the euro train, calculating 3 peeps and a car again = 182.84 GBP

Stansted is on the other side of London to us, and carrying luggage through London is bad, driving through London is worse and going around it costs some more
The train option looks steep too; I dont think i paid that much in Lutzel o___-

It's time to unreveal your drinking and eating habbits, and other bad habbits if you have some. The shopping lists have to be prepared. If not already done, please let us know if you will arrive on thursday or friday.

For the people from overseas
Make sure your pasport is OK, arrange your tickets, talk to each other.
If you have a laptop, bring it, if you don't have one, then drop a line, maybe something can be arranged.

Technical stuff
A JBIII (SM) and JB2004 (CD) server will be waiting for you.
All networkcables, hubs, extension cords, and spare stuff is welcome.
We especially need long power extension cords (called "haspels" in dutch) so we can devide the power over the different groups.
Better to have too much then too little.

Calling all Mappers
It's always nice to have some new stuff to show and play.
So, if any of you mappers want to contribute to the JELP in making their latest stuff playready ... you got less then 4 weeks from now.

Hopefully I can finish JB-Eightball exclusively for the JELP, or something

Yeah ... hopefully. Too bad you're not comming, you did your best. It would have been great for all of us to meet you (and be there when dog meets dog).

Time is till flying, only 20 days to go!! I am waiting to see what the weather is going to do before we decide if we are going to barbeque or not. Lets hope we get some great weather with loads of sunshine!!!

For the beer drinkers, if you have a brand you like please post it here so we can get it for you!!

The list of people joining will still be changed as I hear of some that are not able to make it but have not yet posted about it, so lets hope they still have a change of heart and come and join the fun!

Tiefflieger and I are happy to be part of J.E.L.P. 2005! Thanks for organizing. We will arrive with Angie and Sexmachine on Thursday. The last thing I heard was that die other germans (Sonnentau, Lenor, Darth Campi, Maggy ...) only can come spontaneously to this event or even not. One is moving, one changed his place of work, one has its final thesis for M.A. degree and so on. So let´s see. But I hope there will be a lot of dutch people. And Tiefflieger hops that there won´t be any wasps.

Yeehaw, glad to hear you peeps are still joining. I always enjoy fragging Tiefflieger! I think it is early in the season for wasps, so lets hope they stay away.

I looked up the flights last night with TrueBlood and was sad to see that the prices has doubled for the airfair. It has gone up from 48 pounds to 106 pounds.

With the info from Germany, I now am able to say who is comming and who is still thinking about it.

Joining on thursday are: Sexmachine, Angie, Tiefflieger, Bea-Bomber, CoolDude, Boost, Scopetrigger, Sauron, Cool, BlueBird, Spunky, Dyna, Bitchy, Dalton, Pinowife and Loper, on Friday: Snow, Blade and Uno.
That is 19 peeps in total, first JELP we were with 18 peeps.
Still thinking about is: DF Body, ZedMaestro, TrueBlood and Eewen. We will see who more arrives of the germans on that weekend.

I am looking forward to that weekend as I know it is going to be great fun, maybe instead of Twister, have a football match, seeing we have a big grass field to play on!! That will give some great pics of JELP 2005!!
