geobob , in case you havent noticed, DarkBls already made voice acting , the files are available :) .

Maybe for some of them a bit more "acting" is needed (the most difficult part when making voices -> the french Rogue Spear voices lack "acting" sometime too) , but overall they are good with a special accent in them :D .

Now if someone can include the radio effect heard in the Ghost Recon voices , we will have a good french fan voice pack .

And i agree : we need a Zeep voice pack .

Nice. Now if you can distort the actual word alittle would kick some ass.

Yeah, I thought that one would need redoing.

I also quite like the radio crackle from the Ghost Recon speech that FieldMedic posted.

Yeah, sorry about that. Will try and get some possible translations up soon so that some Spanish people can tear them apart ;)

My opinion
-i heard a kind of reverb that is out of place in the Engage.wav
-you say the Need some backup Now words too quickly
-the same for Need some backup too .
-The shhhhh in the background is a bit too high (just a bit) , or the voice level is a bit too low in those .wav , as a result some of the voices are not very well understandable .
Some adjustment will be welcomed.
The voice acting is enforced a lot by the radio crackle effects , that is a very good thing.
Very promising , keep up the good work

Yo. I couldn't do any special effects because I know nada about audio editing, but I'm sure you guys will be able to do that stuff.

I agree the noise is maybe a bit too loud.. About the spped of the need backup voices, I tried to express the emergency needed of the situation.

I understand , but i think if you cant slow down your acting to keep the needed speed because of the situation , you should insist on some words
Besoin de renforts for the first one
Besoin urgent de renforts for the second one .

A bit difficult for the voice acting while keeping the speed , but i think if you succeed in this it can give a very good result.
EDIT : your new Acknowledge show the perfect level of shhhhh and voice level to be understandable without losing the radio effect : perfect

On another note
I made a complete french voicepack for INF 2.9 , i attach it there.
Because it uses 95% of french Ghost Recon and 5% of french Rogue Spear radio voices that are copyrighted , i advice people that will use it only to have fun in for their offline games with it.
Please , wait for fan-made voice packs that will arrive soon form this thread to use voicepacks on servers. Thanks

Just read the included ReadMe.txt for installation process of this pack.
After the installation , a new voice will be available in the Voice menu of the INF 2.9 Character Configuration : Voice P9

For DarkBls , i made a kind-of tutorial on how i made this voice pack here
http://forums.beyondunreal.com/showthread.php?t=124480
you can adapt it to your wav files easily if you want to test them ingame

Yes i prefer the last version (version 2) over the one i listened in the FrenchVoices_Norm_Radioed_Click_1.zip because the shhhhhhh is not intrusive on the voice , as i previously said

Wow I think they kick ass Darkbls. cant have them too perfect... I love the urgency in your voice when you are calling for backup... please dont change it (sorry fieldmedic :( )

Reaper your on the right track, but the following need to be adjusted please:

Gogogo (sounds like you dont care if your team moves or not, add some UMPH to it).

Cease fire (again, add some emphasis that your team should stop unloading thousands of rounds at that empty bush ;) )

Mandown (sounds like you can give a **** if your best friend just died. Add some passion to that phrase)

Watch your fire (You just took a bullet in the ass, and you talk like that? Add some drama to it.)

The rest are right on target. Good work! Now we just gotta add those radio clicks and we are set! nice work people this is coming along nicely! I got Beppo ready to help slap the final touches on this badboy once we get it done. So lets wrap this up before INF 3.0 ;)

weapons dry :***
hold fire: ***
hold this pos : ***
hold up : ***
hostile down : * (but it must be a marseillais thing :D )
in position : * (lack of energy)
Man down : ** (but god i hate the marseillais :p)
Move :***
need some backup now : *
need some backup : * (for those 2 its very fast and hard to understand. i think in the battlefield the soldier would articulate to be sure his cry for help would be heard) . like "BESOIN DE RENFORTS" and not "Bsoin drfort"
Tango down = *** (just great. in the voice you can feel that the guy just feels like "wow i killed a man and survived" )
Watch your fire = * (dont like it, thats the message who feels wrong to me.. id prefer something like "attention aux tirs frat" "attentions aux frat" but i m not a specialist )

And do you prefer the style from the post #151 or from the post #147 ?
