Is this possible to mod?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I think the sound needs a short fade of white noise. It stops to abrupt for my taste. But I really like the general idea of voicepacks. Would it be possible to take the idea even further, and expand the number of available voicecoms (both english and international) in a mutator?

How about taunts? I know some pretty good ones in Finnish...and other languages..:)
Hmm...a finnish language pack wouldn't be too bad either..

Acnowledge = Ja is klaar man
Area Clear = Keine Sau da
Cease fire = Ey ich schieb die die Wumme gleich in den Hals!
Clear = Wir rulen den Platz
Contact = Uncooler Checker in Sicht!
Fall back = Scheiße man, weg hier!!!
Frag out = Bölleralarm!
Go = Auf!
Gogogo = Immernoch hier!?
Hold this position = Einwurzeln!
Man down = Ja bist du deppert!?
Move = Bewegung!
Need some backup = Großer Bruder und kleine Schwester hierher!
Need some backup now = Großer Bruder und kleine Schwester hierher aber Dalli!
Target Down = Ey krass ich hab den voll Krankenhaus gemacht!
Weapon Dry = Meine uncoole Bleispritze is alle

:p :D j/k

For the white noise, why not just cut'n'tpaste the radio crackle from a normal 2.9 voice? I tried this and it work's fine.

NTKB - Check your PM please.

EDIT : - Found it

I initially used USound to extract the wav's from the uax files then believe it or not I actually used Adobe Premiere 6.5 to strip the wav file of the speech before the crackle (that's the only program I have to display the waveform).

Save this as a separate file, create my speech and append the crackle to the end of the wav within Premiere. Export the timeline audio as a MSN Audio wav file and there you are.

Nice. Now if you can distort the actual word alittle would kick some ass.

Here are 20 french sounds with radio effect in them
Most of of them come from the french version of Ghost Recon (good quality) , the other (lower quality) are from some wav files i collected from the net during the time (and i dont remember the source) .

In my opinion , they should be very good for french voices in an INF voice pack.

Edit : oops forgot the attachment.

Edit : stupid 4xx ko limit , must split the zip in two zip

Here are 3 zip files with the 25 french radio sounds from Rogue Spear (with 2/3 from another game to complete the 25)

Not as good as the french Ghost Recon voices in my opinion , but enough to make a choice.

As for the heavy majority of the sound packs you can find on UT (not underground) websites , yes there is a copyright for those sounds. :)
And of course i think it is an issue if you dont own legally the game they belong to.

But i assume every one has GR and RS like i have :D
