Incidentally, OFP draws character models right out to the edge of it's draw distance.

Provided the rifle you are using has sights that are up to it you can snipe people at 2k or whatever.

But. Having your draw distance set out that far / model details turned up tends to murderise your frame rate even on new PC's, especially if there's actually stuff happening onscreen and even then it still looks like crap (relatively speaking).

No free lunches, basically.
