I wouldn't get so hyped about the radio either; if you had San Andreas on Steam you would have noticed that they took down some of their radio station songs because of "expired contracts". So your game content decreases over time with label music in a game that is "always on".
I just don't ride hype trains because they never pan out. Especially in open world games like Ass Creed and Watchdogs. But sure, after patches it becomes playable and is fun enough for what it is, and the people who hyped say "I don't care, it was fun enough to deserve my $60".
