the features they're adding to the next-gen release of GTAV are staggering.
and of course it's finally arriving at home on PC so it'll be completely open to the modding community on top of that. but it's a goddamn laundry list of improvements, the least of which is the introduction of a 100% robust First-person system to cover all aspects of gameplay.

I don't know but I don't care.
it's here now and it looks amazing. first-person aside, they're overhauling the entire engine. virtually all aspects of the game are being brought up to date.

I'll be buying it for PC. Don't have a console anymore, used to have a modded Xbox 360 with XBL. Thinking of buying an Xbox One one day since a huge majority of my work has it.

It doesn't work that way anymore. You have to bend over and hold your anus open at the screen. Then you will get your game. Make it gap is the most important point. The humiliation will pass. You will soon be in gaming bliss.

already bought the game on PS3, now I'm getting it this week for PS4 so that I can play with my brother and friends for a month before buying it again on PC in January so that I can play with the mods that will eventually be made.

I wouldn't get so hyped that it is going to be "completely open" for modding. This is Rockstar we are talking about. Just because it is on the computer doesn't mean it will be open or easy to do. Actually, I wouldn't get hyped at all. It could run like shit because they decided to be Rockstar who never optimized their games.

Modding difficulty didn't stop people from modding the shit out of GTA IV. It's a big-name title; someone's going to try to crack the file formats as soon as the game is released.

what are you talking about??

the modding community around GTA is huge and they've cracked the code on every single PC installment. they files have never been very difficult to modify and Rockstar supports the modding community like they've done so explicitly with SAMP (San Andreas Multiplayer) and a few other large scale mods.

the hype is real.
if you're not on board get out of the way.

I mean just because there is some 2D sprite crap doesn't mean this doesn't look fun. I sure hope they don't use GFWL (okay, I'm being facetious). It does look quite entertaining.

it's pretty incredible so far.
they also updated the entire radio, adding tons of new tracks to every station.

there's also countless small additions to existing aspects of gameplay.
like the Skimmer now seats 4 players instead of just 2.

which is fucking awesome.
players riding on the outside can wield most weapons during flight (just not RPG's).

the PS4 now has a built-in screenshot feature so you don't even need to take out your camera phone in-game to snap pictures.
you just capture the full scene.
