I've just read the first 2 pages of this thread... I guess the rest of the thread won't learn me any much about this. Altough I'm not playing regularly since +/- 2 years now, I don't think I even bother to know if taque and duke answered. I haven't been here for long and just passing sporadically due to RL occupations but I want just to express my sadness at this...

In MadWoffen's real life, he is a lead assembler at the Fabrique Nationale plant for building and testing P90's.

Viper, it's not my fault your musical taste is underdevelopped. So don't blame me for it. Don't worry though, one day you will hear one of the original songs that DJ's like to rip off and you'll like it so much you'll see what I mean.
Or maybe he'll just have a different taste in music and people will come to accept that rather than bashing him for his opinion on what "good" music is.

Just to derail this even further, I present some terribly interesting news : I've been away the past week while internet is being installed in my new house. I'm writing this from my computer at work. I'll be back later today with a new and improved net connection. Toodleloo.

And just to totally confuse you guys, I love the chemical brothers, UNKLE, the prodigy and Fatboy slim for example. Like I said, it's when quality is lacking (like with Tiesto) that I don't like it. meh.
On topic, any succes reaching Duke yet? Let us know if it works, I'm sure it will change the opinion of some (espescially those who want him and his offspring dead). edit: I mean getting the needed code and such.

Infiltration Lead-Programmer
again some infos:
a) - We asked for Duke and Taque being banned as Keg already said some posts earlier and I guess we had a very valid reason for it... we - and I guess this community as well - simply no longer welcome the two guys and want them to stay outside of this community. So banning them from these forums was a logical step.
b) - The Weapon Pack fix...
There are many ways to block the hacks and many ways to remove them, even without the need to have every mesh, sound or whatever in your compile directories, ready for import.
One way that should work (guess you guys still have a coder in your mod team to do that):
- check out the INF UED link. It starts up UED using the Infiltration.ini file and so every package listed within that is used for compiling is preloaded into UED at the time it starts up. Add the WeaponPack packages to this ini section and UED will load the files automatically for you on startup.
- start UED and use UEDs code window to simply remove the few EXEC functions from the classes that are used for the 'cheats'.
- then recompile the packages within UED and save them to disk.
=> a cleaned up .u package file in your UT\System folder that no longer contains the EXEC functions used for the cheats.
Voilá, no problem and no need to get upset for this part... (if you do not manage to get this together... send me the version you want me to change or PM me for further instructions at specific steps)
c) - to any kind of additional codes, meshs aso that are only available from Duke and noone else has a backup or whatever from them.
Sorry for that but I don't think that the banning of Duke and Taque has something to do with you not getting access to these files right now, nor that an unbanning would give you access to them again.
d) - thread closed cause it really goes nowhere and the number of pages makes it very hard to read. Further discussions about the renewed WeaponPack or simular stuff can be posted in new threads. If needed PM me as already said above or send me an email directly if you need a faster reply.
