No problem, guys :)

There's an error in the Coagulate changelist, saying that "the lamps now have collision". The lamps always had collision, it's just that when changing the lights I deleted most of DrunKenobi's lights I also deleted the collision of the lamps* and it got me confused. In other words, that line shouldn't be there in the changelog.

On another note, if it's possible I'll release all the levels at once in one comprehensive pack. I'm still not sure how I'm going to do Canyon Fear, because the terrain-based geometry seems to be all created with 3dsmax, a program which I don't have, but there always are alternatives.

*clarification: the collision is created by the light actors inside the lamps and not by the geometry of the lamp itself, because the lamp geometry is non-solid (otherwise you won't be able to see a corona) and therefor it cannot have collision.

Excellent! Then that port is hereby finished (did some other lighting tweaks to match the original more closely, one small geometry correction and I also very succesfully replicated the preview shot). Moving on to the next one.

Which will be? :)

(I hope Hood, the fact that you can go on the roofs in the PC version is somewhat annoying).

Keep up the great work. And obviously take your time

What the hell is this "ballin" thing?

Yeah, that is weird. You could try Tess-cubes and go improvising. But it would be better to extract the 3ds stuff and give it to someone to work with.

No idea how that's going to happen though.

And this mappack idea roxxors my boxxors.

I don't clearly remember the lighting in the original version but yours is awesome (especially after playing DrunKenobi's version the day before lol). Great work, ty. :)

Thanks a lot for the support, people! That'll keep me going for a while.

So Hood it is then. You'll no longer be getting up on those rooftops anymore when I release that version. I'll probably wait until I can put them all in that pack I mentioned earlier. For the record, if that PS2 pack is released, it won't contain just the DM maps.

@The Iron Knuckle: Yeah, I remember using those way back when I was really into making terrain levels. It's probably going to be hard (also if I want to avoid those nasty BSP cuts) but certainly not impossible.

Actually I never thought of that. At first it seemed kind of pointless to me, but now I think about it, the changes usually did affect the gameplay in a noteworthy way. The removal of the entire lower deck in Koos or the replacement of the submarine with other geometry in November comes to mind. Well, I might do that if you'd really like that since it won't require a lot of work (merely adding/removing/replacing some geometry). I just don't know how I'll name the maps. I'm absolutely not fond of tags, so I'm thinking of using the "Dreary]["-style naming.

As much as I dislike those "PS2" tags I guess it would be the most obvious solution. In that case I think I'd only want to use them for the "PC-too-but-still-different-maps".

Well, the CTF-MonthName maps are always with submarines. The tradition shouldn't be broken IMO. Maybe the PS2 version was only a beta of the actual map.

I bet it's more likely because the submarine was too high-poly for the map to run on the PS2 at an acceptable framerate.

But personally I see this as a good reason to question porting the PS2 versions of already existing maps. I'm still not sure what to do with it. For now, I'll just concentrate on porting the maps that aren't in the PC version at all.

Well, the tradition started with UT2003 and UT2004, that UT2004 new map is based on the original beta UT2003 one actually.....but both of the maps are simmilar anyway, but have a bit different gameplay.

November, December and January... All had subs. Strange that UT3 doesn't have CTF-February. Guess it could be released for the major expansion.
