If I can remember what I did with it, I taped a documentary of an alien craft that supposedly crashed in russia.

If it was fake, then they made it very convincing.

Does anyone remember the contiversial video, of the alien autopsy?

What do you think?

Fake...or
Real?

Completely false...dosn't look anything like the aliens my freind shoots at his place every other month...I hear him over there all the time yelling "...aliens in the henhouse!!...aliens in the henhouse!!..get the shotgun, boy!!"

Damned aliens are always stealing chickens...he's bagged a few, and they taste like chicken...something strange there...they're kind of tough, but not bad barbequed...their saucers don't rust, so he uses them for corn cribs...

Did you know that several million people claim to have been abducted by aliens around the world? They must be pretty advanced to have come here, kidnapped millions of people and never been caught once.

They must be pretty stupid to do it anyway.

Why couldn’t they be from our world, maybe they are from 300 years in the future and have gone back in time, our time, and we see them thinking they are from “another’ world?

As I stated in the science thread, I do not believe in time travel. We can't go there because we are there.

Time travel is possible I think, but I doubt it would be as simple as just flying back in time. Anyway, if we were in the future we would know all about how people saw UFOs in the past and be more careful...or maybe we wouldnt because that we be a paradox, so they would have to deliberatly get seen to preserve the past...

The Chosen One.
uh...no.

Nope. I don't buy the whole "life on other planets" idea. Ofcourse believing or not believing has little to do with intellegence. I'd say that it boils down to your background (Religious,cultural.....) more than anything since even our own orgion can not be proven. Evolution (as it pertains to Man beginning)is a theory that has yet to be proven and God creating Man (in his present form) is a matter of faith. If I did believe in E.T's, I would be hard pressed to reconcile it with my belief in God.

By God I am speaking from the Christian stand point, which (amongst other things) specifies that not only was Mankind created by God but he was also created in God's image and after God's likeness. This along with the "fact" that Man was given dominion over all of the other creations of God (land, sea and air) ,establishes Man as His finest creation for whom all of the physical universe was created. In essence, we are the reason why God created everything else that exits. This makes it highly unlikely that there is life on other planets. It's really not so difficult to believe if you ask yourself one question; Why the heck would He create all if this stuff anyway?! After all the universe is...well..really....big. At first glance it sounds rather unlikely but if you take into account that origionally Man was designed to be immortal ("Sin came into the world and death BY sin") just this one planet alone would have been filled beyond capacity 100's of times over by now. We would have to live somewhere besides the Earth.

By the way...this is not my official return.....just a small preview(In other words I won't be around to tackle any responses just yet.....but soon.)

Really? Why, maybe you just Don't understand.

(...) Man as His finest creation (...)

ouch
I think he made a rather good job of Andromeda though. And black holes are really kewl. A bit weird, but cool.

(...) In essence, we are the reason why God created everything else that exits.

Really? I read Genesis... sounds more like, OK, I'll try this, hmm... looks good... now let's try how that works out...

Oh, well. But I didn't have the impression we were made for reproduction... maybe he just wanted to have li'll Adam and Eva play in his Garden 'till the dusk of time...
