I wonder... If I pre-order D3 too early, will the ink on the receipt fade before the game is out?

I don't care what other games have, Blizzard games feel EXTREMELY cramped previous to WoW. Going back and playing them now is terrorizing to brain cells because you can hardly see any of the battlefield at one time, and this includes Warcraft 3.Titan Quest has zooming, and Mythos has zooming and rotation. your conclusion is correct, but your reasons are not!
well you said diablo 3 would be the best isometric hack and slash ever entirely on the basis that it has zoom, and i named two other isometric hack and slash games that have zoom thus proving your theory illogical. so don't get all "i don't care what other games have" with ME you penis grabberI don't care what other games have, Blizzard games feel EXTREMELY cramped previous to WoW. I simply don't understand people who are against first person Diablo.
Just look at this scene. Go ahead, maximize it and soak up the atmosphere:

... now, imagine walking through it in first person. I can not even begin to describe how absolutely F***ING AWESOME that would be. With modern engines it is possible to have an environment as detailed as the above picture, so WHY DON'T THEY DO IT?
The Diablo series has only ever had two major flaws: graphical detail and combat gameplay. Assuming they did it right, first person camera could change that. Now, even with the above flaws, Diablo has always been equal to the Unreal series in quality - thats SECOND TO NONE. Imagine what it could be without those flaws...

With current technology, there really is any reason for any standard RPG not to be in first person. Those older RPG's only had that isometric camera angle because of technical limitations - it just wasnt possible to have a first person game of that scale back then, but it is now.

And I'm not sure anyone else really noticed, but check the gameplay trailer again and look at where the shortcut bar and health/mana balls are...middle of the screen. I think this shows that D3 will be a "Widescreen" game. And that regular 4:3 support will be included, but will 'encourage' people to upgrade their graphics/monitor to get the 'full experience' even if they don't upgrade their CPU.

Same goes for the story too. Sorry to say but in games, gameplay > story. If you want a movie go watch MGS4 or a movie. It's a fact that it would completely change the gameplay and feel of Diablo if it was in first person.
