****storm of new content on GT, I'm not gonna link it all.

Edit: Just checked it all out. Everything is looking freakin amazing, wasn't expecting that level of editing with the SC2 editor. Now people are really gonna be able to flesh out those RPG maps. o.o

Battle.net looks awesome, everything you'd expect and some more. Diablo 3 also looks awesome, they explain some stuff a little more in depth.

Blizzard wants to push battlenet, making sure there's a lot of people on there, as much as they can gather. They've been already stating that they've removed LAN features from SC2. Battlenet is free, it's not the biggest of deal. It's a way for them to sort out Anti piracy. But anyway it's more likely that someone will make LAN crack not so long after the game release, so yeah..

they're going to make all wow players sign up to it soon.
So if you like having a specific user name for these things I'd sign up now. Heh heh.

Damn right we're missing out. Not everyone has every machine they own connected to the net.

You dont have a single machine connected to the net? Why would this cause you to miss out? You can buy D3 and play it on the computer that has access to the net. Just use Battle.net Blizz is putting in a lot of work for the new one. It should be promising.

LAN isn't supported D3 will Fail! lolz... Get real. All the people who are crying over this are still going to get the game. And I bet you will too.

United Kingdom is not a country.
D3 should sell by the boat load. The vids look fantastic and the story line does follow on really well (conceptually at least). I can't see Blizz dropping the ball with this one. They'll probably be balance issues and a few patches but that's to be expected.

I actually re-installed D2 and started a new char. Forgotton just how addictive it is.
:D

We should have a BuF D2 session. :D

I was really glad to hear them say at BlizzCon that they are planning to support PVP better in D3 then any other previous game. I hope they learned a lot of balancing mistakes they made in WOW and dont let it happen in D3. They obviously know that the PVP in D2 is what gave the game all it's re-play ability. So a solid PVP system will keep Diablo 3 fresh for years to come!

Yours might be Shadow_Dragon_5267545 at this rate. :p
But why WoW?
heh heh. I only really use that nick here nowadays.
They're pushing wow players because they want all Blizz games to be on battle.net for loads "cool" functionality and social tools. Like cross server/faction friend chat etc. That's what they say anyway.

... How do you have the networking capabilities to potentially play the game over LAN yet not enough to get all your devices on the net?

So if I want to play this with my brother, do I need two copies of the game? That's all I really care about. I don't care if I get to play it over LAN or over an i-net connection I share with the LAN...
