Got it for xmas from my brother in law, but I haven't really given it much of a go. We played through about half of the spec ops (which are awesome) missions, but I haven't touched the main game or multi.

He's been playing through it, however, and it's freaking hilarious. He's terrible at shooters and decided he would play through the game on Hardened. The stream of cursing is nearly non-stop and cracks me up. Terrible people with anger management issues should only ever play on easy.

My buddy John is funny as hell to watch as he gets owned in MW2

"oh.. yeah ****ing great" (1st bad death)
"**** YOU **** YOU" (2nd bad death)
"**** THIS GAME MAN, ****... THIS GAME" (3rd)
"Dude, I"m gonna ****ing kill the people that made this goddamn game" (ect)

I ask why he keeps playing and he say "I don't ****ing know, its like a goddamn disease"

Well, it pretends to be realistic. The characters, environments and weapons of UT3 give away it's bogus. This game tries to honestly simulate a real-life scenario. Or something close.

It really doesn't. It's an action movie disguised as a video game based in a contemporary warfare setting. People just seem to think that because the guns are modeled (loosely) after real ones, and the settings are modeled (loosely) after real ones, then the game must be realistic! It's total crap. Just enjoy it for what it is.

I mean, you don't watch True Lies and say: the harrier is a real jet, so the movie is trying to be realistic. Part of the rules of the genre is that they take real things (or realish things) and twist them completely out of shape for the purpose of having an extremely over-the-top adventure.

On that note, they've been running on "bingo fuel" at least 3 separate times through the first few levels of this game. It's like they cut the budget and fuel was the first thing to go...

Heh, I stand corrected. It's not like I really know what a war scenario is like anyway. :p

So no one actually tried Akimbo G18 with Steady Aim/Stopping Power yet?

Been using that build for a while now.

Also the 1887's are indeed still broken. Just match it with FMJ and akimbo. The range is actually larger now it seems. I almost got my Mario Price using them but some japseye killed me :(

Akimbo G18's have been my bread and butter from the start.
Got over 4000 kills with them already.

As for 8-bit Price, I got him recently using the FAL of all weapons.

And yeah, those ****ing 1887's are still totally OP. It's their range with bothers me the most.

LMAO MW2 MythBusters, that's some funny **** right there. :D

I find the Akimbo G18 worse.
Akimbo's killed the balance on most weapons. The guy who had the idea need to drop gaming for selling shoes ASAP. The only akimbo's there should have been are handgun ones.

So the whole, camp top level of house in estate is quite awesome, especially in ffa against an aimbotter, because apparently aimbots haven't evolved enough to avoid claymores at the top of stairs, so the guy got no where, neither did anyone else actually. Chopper Gunner Estate rape fest won me the game :p

The Christmas kids which have invaded this game recently are killing the experience for me.

In result, the only games I get into now, are either made of people who have no ****ing clue how to play, or hot anus parties made of 14-15's who think they can smoke the crap out of everyone at this game creating parties 24/7, thus it creates a severe imbalance in the game. Wether it's mine or the opposite team, it just isn't fun when it persist (I like when everyone is involved). Specifically not when I'm or someone else on the other team is actually playing.

Now all I tend to see are 12's hiding behind their spawn points the whole ****ing game sitting out waiting for someone to pass by. Now, if EVERYONE would play like this, what would the game look like? It would be ****ing pathetic. The fact they show up RIGHT AFTER Xmas makes it all obvious mama bought the game.

In short, long haired teens who barely washes thinking they can own everyone at this game making parties, or 12's who should just stick to SP. Obviously I try to stick to Mercenary TDM, but rather than having parties, either there is some severe lag going on, or a lot of players will be clueless about what the hell is going on and a lot of players (actually, their whole team) will suffer from it.

Anyway, the game is mostly about camping. You are safer by holding a point than you are at moving out in the open. This is what occurred in MW1's HC and now it's reflected to MW2's Normal.

Having killstreaks also encourages camping. I sooo wish to try a few games without those ****ing killstreaks.

You take video games way too seriously.

You can say that. The people who would tell me on the forums that I brag too much about them games, are the ones who barely post here, and specifically, the ones who barely ever give their opinion in more than 1-2 lines of text. If there's something we all know about Internet forums, is that you will more typically be judged for giving opinions about things you hate or love. The longer - the worse. So the condom-way of posting on forums over the Internet would be the typical 1-line posting style. Does that sound familiar?

As for me, I try to enjoy MW2, too much. That's my problem. It's also maybe because I'm not addressing to the right ears. Really simple task here, if you don't like my posts, don't reply them and add me to ignore, it's the least you can do in my favor.
