Killstreaks do encourage camping though, I don't use them. It' awkward having to press 4 anyway.

Hmm. They should've made a gametype without killstreaks. Like Mosh Pit Pure or something. That would be awesome. I hate those ****ing choppers.

What I thought about is a gametype in which carepackage crates would be dropped away from players, encouraging the players to take a run for the killstreak, rather than being awarded for killing. A team that is on the wrong foot, is a epically dead team all thank to killstreaks.

They also have options to remove it from private matches. It would makes sense if they'd add something to the playlist that removes them.

You take video games way too seriously.

You shoulda seen me in the cod4 thread if you think the frenchy takes the game too seriously.

Anyway i tried it. Act 3 for SP and not so great in MP. I guess you can blame that on not knowing the maps and the beginning weapons SUCK!

I used to really feel that way as well, until I found out that you actually DO have more weapons available than the standard classes are sporting. The UMP45 is very decent you know. And the M4 is still a killer once you get a proper attachment for it.

You can say that. The people who would tell me on the forums that I brag too much about them games, are the ones who barely post here, and specifically, the ones who barely ever give their opinion in more than 1-2 lines of text. If there's something we all know about Internet forums, is that you will more typically be judged for giving opinions about things you hate or love. The longer - the worse. So the condom-way of posting on forums over the Internet would be the typical 1-line posting style. Does that sound familiar?

As for me, I try to enjoy MW2, too much. That's my problem. It's also maybe because I'm not addressing to the right ears. Really simple task here, if you don't like my posts, don't reply them and add me to ignore, it's the least you can do in my favor.

I always found people from Quebec to have strong opinions.

I just kinna find it funny how your so passionate about this game, yet you think very poor for the creators of it.

'ai toujours trouvé des gens de Québec à avoir des opinions fortes.

Je viens de trouver un peu drôle la façon dont votre telle passion pour ce jeu, vous pensez encore très pauvres pour les créateurs de celui-ci.

Now this thread is legal in french Kanadia.

So I sat down today to play the SP. My thoughts:

As always the set pieces and scripting were gorgeous and extremely well laid out. Even when there wasn't in indicator telling you exactly where to go, getting lost isn't really an option, but most of the time the levels feel very organic and don't make you think you're being shoved down a funnel. The lighting was divine and the game is so good looking it's hard to believe they're still using the Radiant Engine.

Guns are cool, characters are pretty lame, but whatever, it's a military game, and the enemy AI on Hardened was solid and challenging but not so much that it makes the game seem cheap. Recoil was surprisingly well done and the sound in the game is astounding. 5.1 with the sound cranked up makes this game FUN.

The story is an abortion. You know how they say that if you put a roomful of monkeys in front of typewriters for an infinite amount of time they will reproduce the works of shakespeare? Well, if you put two monkeys in a room with a bowl of cocaine for two hours they will produce the script to MW2. It makes no sense, it spouts off more cliches than a fountain does water droplets and it stretches the boundaries of disbelief so far it breaks within ten minutes. I mean, seriously, the "No Russian" level is possibly the dumbest thing of all ever. SHOOT THE BADGUY, END OF GAME. The twist near the end is also senseless and blah, blah, blah. All told, I would have to say this is the worst videogame story I have ever seen, and I played through Too Human.

I could enjoy this game more if I never watched the cutscenes. At least then I wouldn't get a headache from excessive rolling of the eyes. Oh well. In the end, it was like ****ing a hot retard. Sure, she's dumb and you can't relate in any way, but that's now what you're there for.

I look forward to finishing up the spec ops missions (they're a freaking blast) and some mindless multi shooting. If anyone wants to shoot me in the face, add Dragonfliet to your 360 friends list.

They're all killer for the AR's. The SCAR-H, nearly, or has identical damage to AK-47. The ACR has no recoil whatsoever, and the M4 is balanced. And the TAR is a bitch w/ silencer, and the least favorable, FAL, stands a good chance if you don't get hit. Getting hit whilst aiming at your target using the FAL is a pain as it doesn't offer this consistent fire rate thus a single pain recoil can be fatal. The Assault rifles are far better balanced than MW1's.

The UMP is the best SMG. Even w/ silencer attached the range reduction penalty isn't all so problematic. The main problem with it is dealing up close if your enemy has anything from shotguns to G18's.

phatcat, that's some poor French translation right there. :)
Like I said before, MW2 is the most Love-Hate game I've ever played. I've had many good moments yet so many bad ones.

Just tried out the banana plant thing in favela with Funk and Zero. Conclusion is they are very bulletproof. We unloaded an entire AR clip pointing towards the person in the plants and managed to maybe hit between 0-3 times. So yeah if you want killstreaks, get in the plants.

AK-47 + FMJ + Stopping Power. Rapes anything, everything and more. 2 hit kill in SD from what i've played with that setup.:D

It's also more favorable over the SCAR-H because of the clip size, which i think is 40 on the scar? Not sure been an age since i used it.

UMP45 is defiantly the best SMG.

M1014 shotgun is my favored secondary, although the clip size is only 4, it's good enough for when you're out of ammo in your primary, the range isn't stupid, so it feels just right.

If only the would remove akimbo, or make aiming more like a unscoped sniper i wouldn't get sprayed to death from half a map away with some kid and his G18 akimbo/SMG akimbo.

It sounds like your just rambling on trying to sound smart and clever while failing spectacularly.

Isn't FMJ a substitute of Deep Impact? Does it provide additional damage on direct hit? Their weapon spec thingy just wasn't accurate in MW1, so I rely on that not to trust what I see there.

Maybe i am just used to cod4 MP5. MW2 MP5 has a way worse recoil, seems it's always spraying around wildly. But it's a new game, you just gotta get used to these things and controll them better then it will feel like second nature. No wild crazy bursts, more slow steady stuff. I am level 6.:D

You're still very exposed.. aren't you?

You can be, but there are parts of that area that is just covered in the plants. You would need a good deal of precise aiming to hit them. Example would be I was in the plants, Funk was standing near me aiming from the hip, he hardly hit me at all.

Isn't FMJ a substitute of Deep Impact? Does it provide additional damage on direct hit? Their weapon spec thingy just wasn't accurate in MW1, so I rely on that not to trust what I see there.

The killcam in MW2 is balls compared to MW1. But as far as FMJ, I think it just makes shooting through walls easier. Not sure on the extra damage. We did find out that stopping power, for the pistols at least, lets you kill in one less hit. UMP45 and M9 took 2 shots up close, 3 at range.
