Me and my friends managed to get multiplayer going in the first go. I forwarded the needed ports first ofcourse, and it works perfectly. Going to play some more tomorrow

I had so much fun last night with Hal, Brizz and DP. DP gave me some cool weapon that I can't wait to use.

I found it in one of the weapon crates in New Haven.

I also found another alien weapon that is a sniper rifle and Capt.Toilet gave me an alien shock pistol.

I found one awesome SMG, its the special that makes it good though. Cuts through regular bandits like butter.

Found an SMG earlier that fired spiralling bullets (think spiral staircase), and bounced off terrain. What I found the most interesting was that this wasn't indicated anywhere at all on the info for it. It was just a regular white gun with no red text.

Is it just me, or are good smg's really, REALLY rare?

I mean, 100+ dmg weapons in every other category (11x43 shotties, 3x39 x2 fire repeaters).. But the BEST smg I've gotten yet is a measly 46dmg..

It's all about the high fire rate SMGs. The good ones ARE rare, but when you find one they can kick all kinds of ass. Especially with the "metal storm" soldier skill.

Is there a way to buyout and re-spec your character? I have a few highly useless skills with my soldier. :/

Wish I had that one. All I found was this 100110... It does a measly 75 damage, though the infinite ammo is nice.

You can respec at a New-U station. It should be an option once you get far enough.

Be warned: It costs a good chunk of change.

Not really imho, now that I've tried it out. It's pretty cheap compared to what it could be. Which is nice, because I like to switch my soldier's spec back and forth between things that are more useful for singleplayer and multiplayer.

I found that too last night, except mine is a purple. Problem is that it didn't seem to hit anything. Mere feet from a dickface and wasn't doing jack to him. I will stick with my hunter shotty for now. 1500-3000 crits with 700-1000 normal damage = sex

I think the swirly bullets are called "Thumper" in the name.
I have two SMGs like that, one is better than the other but I'm keeping both (I don't use them anyways.)

Great, so apparently, my skill mods are broken-_-

I've got the +18% exp leader class mod, and one that boosts assault, defense and something-else skills.

None of them actually get boosted, even though I have points in those skills, and they're not at max.



The last one cost met 45.000 to purchase, leaving me with 2.000.
