Does anyone bother with buying healing kits from the vending machines? In Diablo I'm used to having a handful of healing potions for emergencies, but without any easy way to bind them to a hotkey or anything their usefulness seems severely limited :|

Not really. Usually the battles are so intense that any healing a kit did to you would be diminished in no time. I just rely on the shield accessories that provide health regeneration, and my turret since it replenishes health as well.

I'm mordecai and I'm at level 40 now. I essentially specced down into the sniper tree, grabbing the bloodwing skills. I now also have the crit increase dmg on the pistol side and the health regeneration on the pistol side. My crits are hitting for 10k, plus I never seem to drop to low on health :) This game is so fckin addicting.

I ****ing hate how I have to use the unique nickname.

Why? Simple. I have to use Dark_PuIse as a unique nick, and I *HATE* that.

Why can't I just be named whatever the **** I want to be named? ****ing Gamespy.

Ugh, you know what's worse? I've had "Majik" as a unique nickname for several years now, but now that I've reset my password because I had forgotten it, it now says my nickname is in use whenever I try to log in. Great, thanks Gamespy.

Anyway my gamespy id is Capt.Toilet if anyone fancies to add me.

I'll add you as soon as my game unlocks.

I keep a few for use after battles to top up my health quickly. Would be nice if there was a hotkey, but I guess that might make things too easy during fights.

Seeing as my first coop character is Lilith, it's been pretty easy to phasewalk out of harm's way and use a kit quickly, or drop a kit for my friend. I've made carrying 3-4 of them around a thing I do. (still, I wish I could just in phasewalk, it's a bit aggravating to get stuck on geometry you'd think you could walk past)

Ok typical-BUF drama a-side, anyone else really is all about blasting the **** out of everything non-stop here? I noticed that everyone has it's own pace and it kills the experience when someone is lagging behind or when casual/typical player don't get a chance at the targets out there. A good example would be: always in the menu's, lagging around, selling stuff more than fighting. :gonk:

Ask your friends to wait up or play singleplayer to do things like listening to the NPCs and reading quest log entries.

somewhere; sometime?
I make one off-color remark and Jackal starts his period.
whatever

always in the menu's, lagging around, selling stuff more than fighting.
so is it you that wants to play at this pace?
or this is a problem for one of your buddies during coop?

sorry but the wording in your post is slightly confusing.

I'm having some trouble adjusting to this game.

I'm way too much of a statswhore (you can thank Neverwinter Nights for that), so for every weapon I pick up, I'm checking out it's damage per second, damage per reload, etc...

Thing is, with NWN you could actually do this efficiently since the stats were so transparent. I'm having a hard time figuring out what half of the stats in this game actually do:p

I mean, what about the accuracy stat in the weapon info? Some say, like, +40% accuracy. Then Accuracy says 89%. I'd guessed my base acc would then be around 64%.
However, when I get a weapon with +50% accuracy, I only have like 92% overall accuracy. It's not consistent :/

How does this work?

(Btw, numbers here are pulled out of my ass, can't remember the actual figures)
