Obama is anything but bipartisan. He recanted his statements about making war with Iran or Pakistan over terrorism. Everything he has ever said is always subject to change. As soon as someone challenges him on a statment, he goes into yet another, condescending round of "What I really said was...." followed by more explanation of his oft-ambiguous statements, designed to fool his base.

True Christianity is not a religion or a denomination it is a relationship with Christ. Some Christians belonging to many denominations are very religious and never come to that place.

Did you ever asked yourself what a relegion is or what its purpose is?
Look in Czech Republic. Most of the people have no belief an the amount of thievery is relatively "high" here. Compare that to the low amount of thievery in Austria where people have belief. The most logical deduction is: "Religion is here to keep people in line.", now is it out of fear (of being punished somehow if not following the religion) or out of respect? The very answer here depends of the goodness or the badness of the religion.

Seconldy how many Christians truly believe about the rising from the death? One theory says that Jesus never died in the crucifixion (it was too short for that) and that he had friends on the right places and that his burial was in fact his reviving and insteand of "rising from death" it was "waking up"? Now taking attitude to this is he really the one you want to have relationship with seeing him as a cheater from this point of view?

Didn't Austria see the right wing get into the government in 2001 ?

I've been on holiday there twice. The beautiful landscapes, the nicely maintained houses and initiatives to avoid litter show a population that maintains a high level of respect. However, I'm willing to bet that the success of the right wing then was due to mounting tension to problems that had been left unattended.

Religion is no guarantee of anything. If it teaches people to respect each other it can also amplify intolerance against "outsiders".

Religion = Power, plain and simple. It's only purpose is for control of the sheep-minded masses.

Problem with the world today = so many people are brain-washed very young; forced by their parents to attend church or whatever place of worship.

It's cynicism at it's core for most church goers... most attend not so much out of belief in god, or fear of god, but in fear that their family or friends or neighbors would see they didn't attend.

It's all a scam.

I really doubt that the thievery you talk about is just the cause of lack of religion. No, it's cause of bad politics, the certain people itself, certain other things as well and also some of the laws aren't what they should be.

I don't know about anyone else, but I would rather die having spent my life worshiping and believing in God for nothing, if your right, than to die and discover there is a place called hell. I would rather die and be thought an idiot, than burn for eternity in a lake of fire.
