Take a look at this world, at us humans and our societies. A real look. No omnipotent flawless loving god can create that frack up, and there's no way I'm buying the really lame "free will" excuse. For me there's only two possibilities:
He's It's not there.
And if it is, it's a god fracking arsehole and I'm not worshiping that.

God didn't screw this world up, we did. A real honest look will reveal that 99% of the death and destruction in this world is our fault, not God's. You go back to the root of the problem it is the deep rooted wickedness of people that results in most death and disease. What's amazing is that God can take even the most dire of circumstances and use them for good.

If your god is so loving, why doesn't he protect he innocent? The children and adolescents who get abused by trusted family members, molested, or even murdered?

Maybe you're god's not here anymore. Or never was.

I've never heard about some divine rule or whatever saying he can't tamper with daily/personal life, but if there was, that would go in contrast to you folks who claim he's talked to you.

So to me, he isn't here. He doesn't exist. He's false.

Yeah, God created us that way. Think about that one for a minute.

I have, apparently we draw different conclusions. You were given the ability to make your own decisions. You can chose to do what's right or what's wrong. If God created a bunch of puppets who had no choice but love and worship Him, what's the point.

Is it arrogance or narcissm to believe your religion is the only true one when all religion(even the different strokes of the same faith) contradict each other so devastatingly?

'Cept by the way you argue the unprovable seems to indicate you won't be walking away any time soon.

That is one thing that we do agree on.

To get back on topic, no I don't believe that Barack Hussein Obama is the antichrist described in the book of Revelation. I just know that he's not the type of person I'd like to see running the USA.

We are biological machines. If I create beings, let that be from a DIY LEGO Gene Fun kit, androids with awesome AI or whatever, who are self conscious, have individual behavior, the ability to reproduce, feelings etc and I know they have - depending on circumstances - a certain probability that they start doing horrible things to each other and I let them loose anyway. Then don't tell me I'm not responsible for what they do to each other especially if I have the ability to help and instead decide to let them burn.

And why is God referred to as a he anyway? In German that's a language thing (I don't agree with) but in English? Male makes no sense unless there's a female around.

If you read the Bible and understand the context in which it is written, there are no contradictions. And yes Christianity is intolerant. I believe that there is only one way to God. There is nothing that anyone can do to earn their way to heaven. The wages of sin is eternal death and separation from God. If you want forgiveness of sin and want to have eternal life with God you have to accept the substutionary atonement thru the voluntary death of Jesus Christ, who never sinned, and took the penalty of your sin upon himself.

That is what I believe. Take it or leave it. Debate over.

Did you even read and think about what you just quoted?
Or did you just copy and paste random BS from some jehova's witness/LDS website?

That's not a quote. It's what I believe. I would not quote anything from the Jehova's Witness cult.

You quoted me, but you did not refer to my post in the least. You did the usual skipping reality routine I've seen from so many religious people.

lol, it says Quote: originally posted by Balton. I answered your question.
