The only problem/flaw (if you would call it that) I can see with the M4 is that it brings to light some of the ballistic/damage issues with INF. That's not so much a flaw with the weapon as it is a flaw with the system. Hopefully BS4/RT and other muts will help change this.

Back on topic, I'm glad to hear weapons are still in production, hope to see them in game soon. Now as for a stupid question (sorry it’s been a while since I read the thread in its entirety) would it be possible to use the models/textures etc for these weapons in another game (IE the next version of INF?) ESP if the next INF was for UT2K4? I know these are low poly, but doesn't it usually start higher poly?

USA, and damn proud
Well, if nothing is being done about the M4, why not make the M16A4 a little better?

Btw, the same stuff are implemented in the A4 and the M4, that's why I said you could compare those numbers. Even with all that stuff, the M4 should still kick more than the A4.

It's just like my Nagants. I own a bunch, but namely I have a 91/30 and a 91/38. Both fire the same round. But the 91/38 is significantly smaller. The 91/30 is a decent rifle to fire. But the 91/38 is almost painful (especially from the flat metal buttstock). It's the same thing with the M4 / M16.

Where is it you are located? {remember, its winter, and im old }
And ill keep the GD guys away from my live fire excercises, with your collective pencheant for shooting those on your own team :p

I live in Grand Rapids, Mi. What is old except a state of mind? Well, at least until you get to be about 80 then maybe you're old regardless of your state of mind....assuming you still have that. And as far as the tk's: we only tk those we love the most. :lol: I'm bringing every {GD} I can round up to your house for live fire exercises. :D

if you want to portray realistic recoil of a weapon in the hands of whats supposed to be a trained soldier, well, in that case, all the guns in Infiltration are overpowered....
I've said that quite a while ago.... All inf weapons are too easy to fire accurately in automatic mode.

I think shooting in INF is to easy, but the recoil is to overpowered anyway.
Recoil should be less, but sway to different directions if shooting, which depends on the way you move or your posture (not always up).
And the recoil should jump backward more than up, that will disturb you sightaiming more than just a clean up moving gun. AA:O and INF got that allready (you see if you loose the frontsight out of the rearsight line).
AA:O got it less right I think, cuz you see the frontsight moving up, but I noticed, that IRL the recoil causes the rearsight recoiling and cuz the rearsight is much closer to your view, it recoils (optically) more and the frontsight is moving down and you loose the frontsight for a short while (something I noticed in INF's M16A2).
