A discussion was going on in the General topic forum and something came up that the team might want to take a look at. IRL, if you were to have both an M203 and the acog on an M16, you would not be able to aim the M203 using the scope. Rather than seeing the target the 40mm will impact, you would only see blue sky through the scope, making it impossible to place the grenade via use of the scope. However, in Infiltration, using the acog is the most effective way to aim the M203, making this a bit of an unfair and unrealistic advantage.
Can the team consider changing the view through the acog to correspond to the elevated angle of the weapon (obvious when using iron sights) when using the M203? If someone wants to choose that weapon/attachment combination, then fine, but he's going to have to shoot the M203 without using sights/acog (from the hip in Inf) unless he wants to fire it blindly. This would best correlate with the real life situation (that is, if the M16/M203/acog combo occurs IRL, which I doubt). Thanks!
