Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Yikes! You guys sure manage to get your game screwed over somehow?
I've had no in-game crashes (it gave me some crap that it encountered a problem when I quit the game), and no corrupted save files. I probably jinxed myself by saying that.
I've found that most problems with Fallout 3 have a simple answer, you get a ****ing gatling gun. With lasers.

/me knocks on wood, only 2 crashes (right after starting the game) in over 30 hours of gametime 
This game is awesome, it almost makes me go home early to play
I'm a lvl 12 Evil do'er and I've just finished the quests for Lucy West & Moira Brown.
I also disarmed the nuke in Megaton and got my own place with the loveshack theme (heart shaped beds filled with teddybears ftw!)
So far I keep being amazed at all the small details in the stories and I just love wandering around the wastelands
This game is awesome, it almost makes me go home early to play

I swear I have never spent so much time just wandering around in a game and not follow the main story arch. This game is awesome!

I have to say that I'm disappointed with the end of the main storyline. I'd expected a bit more. Still have a bunch of sidequests I can do, including the discovery of about half the game world but I feel slightly less compelled to do it right now.
The Vault 112 mission was bad-ass though
Heh, I'm still planning on getting the game, but that video made it look way less immersive than I was hoping it'd be. Shooting someone in the head makes them stand up and exclaim, "The brutality!" after which they walk into a pile of landmines which you JUST laid down in front of them? Man, it is Oblivion with guns.
Still, I've heard it's great, so I'm going to get it.
Okay well I purchased it today in preparation for my new computer.
Thought i'd put it on this machine (it meets the minimum specs) just to have a gander to sate my curiousity.
Upon installation it tells me i have a CRC Error and that a texture file is corrupted and aborts the installation. Not much on google about it either.
Anyone else had this?
EDIT: Nevermind. I updated my DVD drivers and it installed OK.

I got killed on the way to Arefu... Had next to no ammo and only a baseball bat to fall back on.
Got killed by a Mirelurk.
It gets really dark when it turns nighttime - I can't see a thing. Even got brightness turned right up. Anyone else got that issue?

blargh, lv 20 cap. i havent even uncovered a third of the map and ive already reached my maximum allowed stats
No but I did find a crashed UFO that had a really awesome gift!
If you hold down the tab key your Pipboy light will come on. Just don't do it when you're trying to sneak.
If anyone is considering picking up the guide book it's well worth the money.
