Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. So the XM320 will be a "seperate" weapon? --> right mouse 1st picture? rm and activate attachment key 3rd and 4th picture?
Could it be possible that the texure used is more detailed?

Quit with the damn texture already. No. I can't find any other pic and I don't have the inclination of airbrushing it myself. By the way, most of the INF weapon textures are about the same quality. They may look more detailed because the gun is. If you look at some XM8 video footage, it doesn't have much detail on it. That's one of the beauties of the gun, in terms of efficiency; it breaks down into 7 parts only. And also, the pics are in .jpg format, which means they lost some depth, it looks better in game.
Duke how do you intend to implant the scope thing, the 100 round, and grenade launch, and ways to aim that and change ammo type.

To repeat a question: will the modular components be available (eventually)? My guess is no, but it would be sweet to be able to customize your setup to your needs. Like for me i would want the 20" barrel, suppressor, bipod, scope.
As far as the 'real world' element of the X-M8 goes, it doesn't do anything that hasn't been done before, and doesn't offer really anything better than the M4 series of rifles. Also consider that gas piston upper receivers have already been built (most recently by H&K) by various small time smiths. These weapons do EVERYTHING the X-M8 does, plus they retain total STANAG compatibility and have almost no parts changeover...
Duke is it possible to zoom that first screenshot like Beppo's mutator? For example, if the scope being used is 4x, then zoom the whole screen by 4x. This would bring the scope closer to the face, and would give a zoomed sight picture.

Also, I thought only current milispec weapons get put into INF!?!??!?! WTF!@?!?
Really, I just came on here to ask who the hell has this link in their sig or whatever? Whenever I come into this thread, I get spammed by this thing every time I come in or go to another page on it. Whoever it is, I hope they get AIDS.

I clicked on the link above and canceled the action, when it prompted me to install the certificate. Now EVERY time I visit this thread, the certificate install dialog pops up. The certificate it wants to install, is the one, that the site in the link above wanted to install.

I'd just like to take a moment to point out two things:
1. The XM8 is lighter and more in line with current technology than the AR15 series, but most importantly of all, at least in theory, it fires when you pull the trigger. By most accounts, this would make them quite a bit better than anything in the AR15 family (the HK M4 aside).
2. Ths is a mod, and could be a musket if someone felt like making one. There are no limitations placed on the modding community for the obvious reasons.
