Wow, nice work with the TCs. They’re very clear without being too ugly. In fact, if anything, some of them make the model look even better.
I like the lace/rope thing you’ve done on the clothing. It gives him more of a “knightly” feel, since it makes the clothing look somewhat primitive/medieval. Buuut, the rest of the clothing looks a bit drab and uninteresting at the moment.
I would suggest perhaps bringing back a bit of the blue texture you had and placing it over the less detailed areas of cloth, but the blue
could possibly ruin the good thing you’ve got going with your TCs. Hrrmmm… Perhaps if the material was made to look more like scratched and/or scuffed leather in a few places? I’m not sure how difficult that would be to produce, though.
Oh, and I had another small suggestion: Have you considered changing the colour of the glowing eyes with the TCs? It might be a nice effect to have if you leave the rest of the mask alone…Then again, if you did that, it
might look odd if the rest of the blue-glowing circular panels (the ones on his legs, backpack and belt) did not change to the team colours as well. But if they
did change to the team’s colour, they might be drowned out by the team colour on the surrounding metal. *boggles* Okay, perhaps this is a can of worms best left un-opened. But I’ll leave it with you.
EDIT:
*looks up at what he’s written*
Yeesh. I’m probably writing a bit much, here. Tell me to shut up if I’m being too vocal. I don’t want to be egging you on to do even more work when you think it’s as good as it’s going to get.
