Well, Torch and Brock, are the same models so it doesn't matter, but the skins comign along very nice, add a little more detail to the green pants, and if you join UTMP like i pm'd you, i will give you my custom brushes i made for some very nice tribal and all types of brushes.

Actually, Wraith/Torch and Brock ARE different models (mainly due to the shape of the hair).

Anyway, nice to see you bringing some of the original "Unreal" skins to "UT 2004", Thanatos! :)

I've fixed his skintone and darkened his trousers ingame now, any objections before I start working on teamcolours and Alpha shading the blue pads on his legs? :enforcer:

Slowly but surely, your skins are coming along to become something decent. The armor looks a little too flat in my opinion. I'd suggest to add some artificial shading to it.

Yeah I will bare that in mind I originally had him with the same colour arms as his head but I found that he looked a bit too pale... I'm using his darker arms to get the right sort of skin tone before I adjust the colour lighter.

*EDIT* Me and my brother played an invasion match using Dante and Kurgan and man was it cool! it brought back memories seeing Kurgan(My Bro) using the minigun(Unreal 1's minigun kicked A$$ UT2004's sorta suck) and Dante (myself using the flak cannon).
We also did an Assault on the Skaarj mothership(Though with no team colours) against a group of Skaarj bots.

Dante and Kurgan now have teamskins and I have lightened Kurgan's arms to match the colour of his head:

Dante's Teamskins are done in exactly the same way as in Unreal 1 by recolouring the same parts that were changed when you selected your team in unreal 1:

Kurgans Teamskins are new but still feel like unreal 1:

So what do you think of the new recoloured teamskins like unreal 1?

Triple post FTW.
It looks ok
It wasn't 3 posts at the same time there is a substancial difference in posting times one was yesterday at 11 in the morning the other was at 10 in the morning and at 4 PM Its just that it seamed to be getting ignored and considering I am a beginner at skinning, I have only been skinning for five days. I need as much feedback as possible so I can impove my classic unreal skins.

Aside from the paint that spilled over onto the bottom of Dante's boots, I'd say these are a real good improvement. Considering how old Unreal 1 is, with its low-res textures, these are spiffy. I'd like to see them in game. Are you planning on making green and gold skins for CTF4?

Possibly, considering in Unreal 1 they had four team colours I can get an idea on what shade of colour the skins should be although I've never created CTF4 skins so I'll need to know how to set them up.

You know how you name the red and blue skin files with the "_0" and "_1" suffixes? Add two more images and put in "_3" for the Green Team and "_4" for the Gold Team. Haven't done that yet myself, but if I remember correctly that's how it's done.

Errr...I believe it's "_2" for the Green Team and "_3" for the Gold Team.

Thanks Starry that makes sense its _0 for Red _1 for Blue _2 for Green and _3 for Gold

I've started work on his Gold team clothes which is a rough recreation of the tone of yellow used in unreal 1 for Dante's teamskin:
What do you think?(The light blue is where I havent Alpha Masked out his knee pads yet)
