Still needs tweaking though :) Not yet working on it, too occupied with the Scorpion, but will be changed later anyway.
The SPMA is really tough though, I don't think I'll manage to change it this time :( and given that Dots also has the code for a mouse-controlled SPMA...

someone has made a ut3 Helberder and scorpion already but you cant use the blades on the scorpion but you can use the boost thing, i'll try to find the link

I know, already contacted the author and using it as base. But it still needs a complete overhaul, because in UT3 it's still pretty different (for example, you use the Space Bar to boost), and also I want to add realistic projectiles (strangely neither in UT3, nor in the EONS version you don't get realism. I made it to look like like a ball of plasma by using stock static meshes!). The self destruct mechanism is also there now and it's very fun to use it. Tanks get really disrupted if you do everything well.

The Scorpions I made have the self-destruct mechanism...

Not sure what you mean by realism when you're talking about flying balls of plasma? Heh. Good luck with the edits you're doing though, looking forward to seeing what you end up doing with it.

Yes, I know they had, but it's really hard to activate it and it's very different from UT3. With what I have now, I have full control over when to eject and the scorpion flies towards enemies for a short time before exploding. A lot of fun!

Its easy, bots directly input the location they inted to shoot at into the weapon. So if you do a trace from the mortar camera to the ground, then input the traced location into the cannon, you got a mouse controlled SPMA.

And about the SPMA, Wormbo is working on it, and it's already complete except some AI issues :)

Every time I pick up the sniper rifle or the AVRiL UT2004 keeps showing up with this error.

And here it is! The Beta 2 of this mod! The main target for this beta were the vehicles. This version has all of Axon ones converted for use in UT2004, with a few more minor changes.

Changelog:


+ b2.0 Added the vehicles: Hellbender, Manta, Goliath, Scorpion, Paladin, Hellfire SPMA.
! b2.0 The Raptor is now just like the one in UT3.
! b2.0 Leviathan now has correct sounds.
! b2.0 You can no longer make Impact Hammer jumps after jumping, but the height of a jump was increased by 20%.
! b2.0 Link Gun alt fire transfers less momentum.
