OK heres the result of my online test

In TAM I added the UT3 weapons and I ended up with both sets of weapons 2k4 and ut3 and they both worked with the exception of some of the UT3 weapons alt fire not working.
so I added the worm mutator and replaced the default 2k4 weapons with ut3's...same result both sets of weapons...I'm guessing that TAM uses a different named version of the default 2k4 weapons...I'll try more later in the TAM version

I also decided to just do DM....I can see all the UT3 weapons on their bases and i can run over them and it says that I got them....but I don't see the weapon in my hand and I can't fire it. The bots seem to use the UT3 weapons fine however.

I'm not sure why this is...anyone have any ideas?

Are those UT3 weapon models actually REALLY included (because ut3 weapons mutator has still the ut2004 ones) or are those shots from page1 from a beta 4?

Edit: Nevermind, it works. Actually although the uengine 1 and 2 generally supports custom directories .. they do not ever work, specially not in combination of system files as it seems.

Good work G.E. Its something different now to play UT2004^^

noted some things I want to mention
1. Is it intended that the minigun needs that long to get the real speed? (strange slow accelration)
2. Something is wrong with the loading sounds of the rocket launcher if you want to show multiply rockets. Generally the RL acts kinda strange and slow. Dont know how to describe that.
3. Shock rifle is way to big on the screen
4. Enforcer seems slightly small - or maybe just because it is nearly out of screen?

Well, there are now the only two weapons where I made a direct comparison like this.

You see that small weapons cant solve the problem? While SR is anywise - like Enforcer - out of place, the rocket launchers have nearly the same size and position.
I hope you can see that. I found no other way atm to make decent "comparing screenshots". (BTW: Of course I made sure that I have choosed in both games the same resolution)

And what sense does it have to use "Small Weapons" if a weapon is already to small? Do you feel anywise annoyed because I found and reported some issues? I was looking forward for that beta 3 because of the ut3 weapons..

There's a lot of sense in using small weapons. One of biggest things is that this beta does not support big weapons. At all. I haven't tested with big weapons at all, so the fact that they are even displayed is a miracle. So either turn on small weapons, do with what you have already or wait for the next beta.

Impressive work GE, I hope to achieve a similar thing with UT2004 weps in UT99.

Porting the UT3 weps to UT99 might be much easier with them now being present in UT2004 so I can have a proper look at them (In the editor and such)
Of course I wouldn't do this without your permission and when I've finished xWeapons.
