It needs UT2Vote43.ini and must go in your UT2004\System or UT2004Server\System folder.

Like I said, its currently experimental and 'hard wired'

Nice tool :D

Unfortunately I have the same resolution probs like with the UT4Monitor ... you remember, Ben?
I have 1280 x 1024 with large system types.

Sry. I shouldn't have been so vague. I open it and it allows me to read maps from the normal directory, but it won't go into my mods folders, like deathball, UD, Carball..
I'm about to grab the updated one..
edit - I already had that one.. nuts.
When the tool is opened, it will complain if the file is not found. It will open with ut2vote43.ini but not the ut2vote44b1.ini
When the beta ini is present the program immediately closes after coming up on the screen. With the 43 release ini, the program opens, but doesn't seem to read anything out of the file. (the program shows all blank windows)
The only thing that seems to work is the pulldown maplist reads the stock maps in the traditional folder.

Is there any support that this program needs in the way of vB or .Net framework or etc? Whenever I open a valid ini file, the program instantly closes.
The same happens here.

Same here - only if the .ini file is placed in the system folder like the tool then you are able to open it.

Ben, now I can see everything

No, it is a complete standalone C++ program, but looks like you guys are using some DOS or UNIX based text file format that it does not understand.
Mine works 100% and seems like PoW's one also.
I'll see if I can change it somehow - maybe the UT2Vote ini files are written wrong.
Try loading a UT2Vote ini file into NotePad then saving it.

I edit with notepad all the time.
For the above edits, I used Wordpad and Word2003 as well. Nothing doing.
I will test with the untouched ini from the ut2vote44b1.zip file next..

Edit- Nope. That ini fresh out of the zipfile made the prog close immediately too.

well, i tested it at work now, where i don't even have ut installed, and there it works...

but like you thought, it works only with dos-ascii, not with the ini i copied from my linux-server...
