UT Maps - Community best suggested

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I suppose if you want larger maps there's always:

DM-Decifer by Platinum
DM-TimeCrash by Mr. Prophet
DM-Timor by Heiko Dreyer

But I can't guarantee that any of these could be considered the "community best". My favourite large map is DM-Vocant][, which I suggested earlier and which has been included. I don't count DM-Falkenstein because it's not really a map that flows. Some people are fond of DM-Kononsus][...

I discovered this map last night and I have to say that it's a good looking map. The setting is apparently based on an italian city square, something that has been rendered nicely.

... the screenshot part is the best of the map. Rest feels less accomplished, especially the "church" :( ... ok map for NeoNite's bigmaps-fetish :p ...

In a stream of stars
Decifer- check

Timercrash -check. Never really liked playing this one. It looks good sure, but that's about it.

Timor: Nope haven't played that one yet.

Autonomous: I'll take a look.

Well, about the big maps:

I don't need any chaotic stuff though...
If I play on big maps, it's in teamgames. Hardly deathmatch.

As for the "land of the giants" maps, .. they're ok for once in a while...

Nowadays I load them for the sole purpose of summoning tons of monsters and make them fight :D

I can't believe DM-Axon hasn't been mentioned! This map is pure flow with not bad visuals thrown in. And the bots can hold their own too. If you want fast paced play then this is for you.

The pics there don't really do justice. It's only 800 Kb so just download it!

I have to say tho that DM-Ultimum][ should NOT be in that list. Sure it looks ok but so what? It's a game not a photo! Anyway there is one map i had years ago that i'm trying to find again. I've no idea what it's called or how to describe it so it's fairly hard to search for. But when i find it i'll let you all know.

... even though it has more eye-candy variety, i still prefer M0f0 over it. Though, it is a nice map ;) ...

Not sure but it may be impossible for some to have access to the file at U.P. so get it here:

But it lacks a level shot in the map selection menu.
