And one person mentioned that U2 was placed before Unreal; according to the timeline, U1 was set somewhere before 2215, when the New Earth Government was formed to battle the skaarj empire, while U2 and the incident with the artifacts happened in 2251, around the same time where the first prototype of the Tournaments cloning machine was built, and sold to the Liandri Corp, where they in 2291 started the official UT.
