My alias is Dird aka DJ Dird live from England and a bunch of u gamers are very ghey...i provide a variety of music and half the ppl in the server like it...then u have another half who moan..i mean stop moaning..if u dont like it then leave the public channel or the server all together.. i give a range too..eminem, maroon 5, natasha bedingfield, tupac, nelly, the friends theme, wheatus, 3 doors down, lemar...AND i sing aswell ^_^

I don't know about everyone else, but my thinking is that if they want to listen to music, they can do it when they want, where they want, as loud as they want, and whatever song they want. They don't need you to do it. Personally I find it exceedingly annoying when people play music over the voice chat. In some servers, that's a bannable offense, for good reason.

1.) The idea is that everyone already has the music turned off so they can hear their opponents coming and thus play better. So when sh*tty music starts blaring over a low-quality voice channel (most likely through a crappy microphone), this ruins the usefulness of this particular technique.

2.) If you turn off the voice altogether and you're playing TDM or CTF or ONS or whatever the hell else, you can't hear your teammates. It is possible to ignore one particular user's voice chat, but that's altogether annoying and we'd still have to be subjected to this music for a few seconds before we incite blissful silence.

And gunshots. But that comes with the territory.
