The WIP Screenshot Thread!

Lighting looks fantastic. These shadows on the ground looks very realistic. What gametype will this map be?

Nice, has that sort of Slainchild feel to it from first glance, I had to scroll it all the way up to see who posted it as I thought it was him.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys, as for gametype it will be a small (recommended 6-8 players) deathmatch.

I'll take note on one constructive criticism that seems to be missing. For lighting, where are the green lights coming from? Maybe that area could lean more towards the orange-reddish tint that seems to be in most of the map. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't know where those green lights are coming from. Since the lights are yellow, maybe a more golden tint?

Other than that, progress looks great.

The lights that appear greenish-yellow, or emanate a greenish-yellow tint. It's probably just me, but the yellow light seems to mix with the bluish light and create a green tint.

In contrast to the general lighting, it practically looks green. Like pea soup green.

Everything else looks beautiful though.

Working on meshing now, got the layout down, weapons etc. Practising with what lighting style/colours to go with.

Nice pipes Cr4zyB4st4rd, I like the hue to the blue lights too.

@xViperAKx

The light is actually yellow, its quite odd that it looks slightly green in the areas where there are no blue lights (like the screenshot you edited). I think it has something to do with the mix of lighting and material colours, everything is still WIP at this stage so ill probably go back and tweak the material on the light fixtures and/or the light hue slightly.

Thanks for your criticisms though, much appreciated.

more WIP shots.

As you can see it's a wee bit emitter heavy. Not sure how much that will affect low end system FPS, all can be tested when i finally get a beta.

Most of them are also custom ones i've created purposely.

Started working on the bio area, after wasting so much time making custom emitters :D. Time to slowly move round the map now.
