Grenades are sticky, right? And they automatically blow up if you get killed, right? If you fly a Raptor to an enemy power node they are going to shoot you, right? Well here are my easy steps for an instant Node destruction or major damage to a power core. :D

Step 1. Grab a grenade launcher.

Step 2. Shoot the granades all over your Raptor. (or Manta, or etc...)

Step 3. Hop in the vehicle and fly it right into the middle of your enemies Node.

Step 4. Let them shoot you. :lololol:

sorry if this has been discussed in this thread before, but, since you can't fall of off a ledge when crouched, would the same thing work for being on the wings of the manta? could have a person on each wing linking up with the manta, could do some serious damage...

Easiest way to win you need to split up in 3 teams....

Team A: FOCUS: Tank Nodes
2-3 ppl get on a manta and go for first node....link up and capture it quick. Go to 2nd node (tank node) and start capturing it. When it reaches 60-75% speed to the other teams tank node ...stay at a distance and start firing at the node.... have the other ppl with you take down the tank with the AVRiL and then target the node with minigun alt-fire. (that is ofcourse if the enemy was quick enough to start building a node) If no node simply capture it and proceed to tank and mantas

Team B: FOCUS: Air Support / Tower Control
Get the raptor and the AVRiL....get to the Tower ASAP....dont bother with the guy that will try to dogfight you....just get to the tower and shoot him down with the AVRIL, then destroy your own raptor (so atleast your team has another raptor in the air)...shoot at enemy vehicles with the AVRIL until the redeemer spawns and then fly it to the closest power node that you can attack (wait if none are ready yet). Main job is to keep the enemy raptor out of the sky and control the redeemer....Other team member spawns and gets the avril and goes straight to the base tower to shoot down any raptors in the air...when the other guy is at the middle tower and destroys the raptor go down and get in the newly spawned one...give air support as needed. When the guy on the tower finally gets killed (most likely sniped) take his place and destroy the raptor that got you to the tower). Teammate that got killed now flies around offering air support.

Team C: FOCUS: Middle Node / etc
get 2-3 people into the hellbender and go for the middle node...if team A was quick enough it should be ready for capture by the time you get there...Link up and capture it....one team member should now go for the additional Raptor above (use the teleport) and another should go for the tank at the home Tank node (if there are 3 people, and use teleport) Player in the raptor should go to the enemy tank power node and support if there is a tank problem or go straight to the last enemy power node and start attacking. The player in the hellbender also goes to the power node...takes cover behind the hill, switches to the shock combo weapon and lays waste to all players at the base.... Raptor + Hellbender + Tank (enemies taken by Team A) take down last power node...now put pressure on enemy base....By now your own tank should be coming into their base from the other side.

To take down the enemy main Power node I found the best weapon to be the Flak Primary make sure there is atleast one person in there with the Manta constant running back and forth with 'c' pressed.

-----------
Main thing is that each player knows what team they belong in and thus what their 'role' is. This way when any player dies, they can get a manta/scorpion and get back to the objective at hand.

Also the main thing above is to always keep pressure on the enemy from two fronts...First its the middle node and the Tank node...then it becomes the entrances to the base....a tank is coming from either side. Bottom line is that the enemy will always get stretched thin.

General Tip: Think the Manta is overpowered in that it can rack up kills so easy? Simply crouch to avoid it everytime it passes.

as a sidebar, I think that clan ONS play is going to be more intense.

wahahah "suicide bomber" teammates. ahahah thats golden!

Also, dont the vehicles have a maximum number of nades you can stick on them? i shot my manta up with a bunch of em and after a certain number, they fell off to the ground.

Clan onslaught play is very interesting. It goes extreemly fast, the first few minutes are critical. Pretty funky stuff goin on right now.

Recoil's strat isn't too far off. However, we're progressing beyond that. Hence the "pretty funky stuff". Ya gotta go off the raptor middle tank node strat and work from there.

I didn't particularly like that guide. His starting method is really messed up. The current strat that I've been seeing from most clans is the hellbender goes to the center the raptor goes to get the redeemer and the manta carrys people so you can get your nodes up as fast as possible. However that's the very basics of a team strategy. You have to decide who does what and how etc.

is ironing his panties!
The avril doesn't work the way people think it does!

When i use it i stand on the tower or so, crouching on the edge will knock you back so you can't see the tower! HOWEVER that doesn't matter because you can fire the rocket WITHOUT having a lock and THEN when you place target over a tank the rocket will turn on the target! So what i do is fire a rocket straight up in the air and then when i find an enemy vehicle i target it then and it just comes straight down on top of them rather than from me! :D

I believe it's also possible to change your target aswell! So if your using the Avril on the centre tower just stand in the middle, shoot forward, walk to the edge and find yoruself a target!

Should also be noted that pressing the right mouse button does NOT lock the missile onto the target, just having the cursor over the target locks the missile, pressing right mouse button locks the cursor to the target ! So if your face on with a tank theres no point right clicking unless your afraid a scorpion might fly out and distract your lock!

That's my tip!

 I just figured this out about 2 days ago... It rocks, you can have it flying and then lock on at the last possible second so that the enemy has no time to react.

Ever feel that 8 spidermines just isn't enough? Well, I have the solution for you. Go to your first node and pick up the mines at the weapons locker, then stand inside the node's shield. (I'm pretty sure this shield must be up for this to work) When inside, fire off two mines. Nothing will come out. Now walk outside the node and fire two more. You'll notice two mines come out, but they don't appear in the bottom right corner of your screen. You can now fire your other eight mines for a total of 10 mines under your control.
