"The UT2004 master server could not be reached. Please try again later."?

When I go to play online it says "The UT2004 master server could not be reached. Please try again later." It has only done this once before as far as I can remember, and that time it fixed itself right away. This has been happening all day, so it doesn't seem to be correcting itself. I tried reinstalling--didn't work. What can I do?

There are some things I need to check and then I'll restart it. It won't be before tomorrow morning though.

No, the master server is still down. I don't know why either.

Does anyone know if maintanance is being done on the master server?

Does anyone know if there was a cyber attack on the master server?

Does anyone know anything about why this is happening?

I noticed this yesterday at about noon.

Any information would be appreciated on this matter.

I just installed Windows 7 and got this message, i am so hoping its a server side issue and not something ive done because i cant seem to get it to change atm :S

I'll see if my friends have the same issue

I have the steam version and my friend uses a downloaded one, he seems to be able to get online no problem.

I was wondering if you had any luck with the Master Server, can we expect to see it back up soon?

I think "over the weekend" is a pretty obvious time frame. And in case it's not for you: It means that by Monday the issue should be resolved.

Hayt: UT2004 has a built-in server browser cache. If the masterserver doesn't respond, the browser will use its cached masterserver results instead.

Well, it looks like there are some bigger issues going on. I killed all of the servers and restarted them but the UT2004 server won't come back up. Going to escalate it to the big boys.
