Ok first off that wasn't attempted murder, the dude was avoiding the spike strips. Second, anyone in their shoes would NOT have done the same. If you watch the video you will note at least one cop who runs up to the guy but does not beat him senseless like the other savages.
Jacks, I don't have sympathy, but I do know that violence doesn't solve anything. If you need to use force to take the guy down that's one thing. Beating a near lifeless body is another... Those are probably the same power tripping cops that tase people for no reason.

True partially. On one side that Lada model (it's VAZ-2105 here) is still in production, on the other side they have much newer models, which still fail to compete with lower class cars from EU, like Renault Logan f.e. mostly in terms of assembly and materials quality. Quality and materials remark applies to 2105 as well, but at least it is so simple and is produced for so long most of people here have no problem fixing or getting replacement part they need for it.
