BT, there is something I don't understand and hopefully you can clear it up for me and the rest of the Clan. Why do you want to attend when you never act like your part of the «BuA» family any other time?? Hell even ICE makes an appearance on the forums more often then you and has actually showed up in TS and played UT2004 a few times with us. Not sure you realize it but the games we play you don't. You don't seem to want to be a part of the Clan any other time so makes me wonder why now.

Mike, Sorry to say this but your Invite has been pulled. We had a discussion and decided this was for the best. Please feel free to still post on the forums, after all it is a public forum site. Dave...

This years schedule will be somewhat like last year. Friday is the travel day and we have a Zoo Trip planned. Nothing like a day at the Zoo to get you in the Spirit.

Here's an idea. I would like to get Hats or T-Shirts for this years TAZ-LAN.
I was just messing around with this online but seriously need some help in the Design Stage. This site for this hat cost "Quantity: 12 :: $26.29 each | $315.48 total" yea Minimum was 12.
Have to shop around and find a site or retail store that has no Minimum.

We can upload an image/design to this site so I am assuming most sites offer same service.

Lets put our minds together and come up with something..
BTW: It doesn't have to be TAZ-LAN, it could be «BuA» LAN-2009 etc.....

Ohio...that suck ass STATE.
I'll print it out save it as some good times. Until something changes I'm not going to attend the LAN for obvious reasons. Send some photos of the lan while you guys are there.

I'm still alive but just haven't found enough energy and time to play. I am starting to accept what is happening and starting to move on. So I may show up this weekend just to get my mind off of this crap. If you guys are up to just post in Left 4 Dead.

My question would be about the quality... Is it going to be embroidered or just stuck on there like and iron-on? Taz Lan has a nice flow to it... moreso than BuA but I guess we could try and work it in somehow. My brain is pretty much shot right now, but we can chat about it later.

I realize TAZ is thinking more along the lines of just who is showing up, but since we have some dedicated members that just plain can't come, does it have to say something about this particular trip? How about keep it simple and just have «BuA» embroidered on the front or back? Of course, an embroidered hat is probably going to cost a lot, but a simple hat like that we can keep around to give to other members or replace old worn out ones, so getting a dozen wouldn't be a bad idea.

If we are going to do something Lan specific, I'd say a t-shirt, because those would be cheaper and quality wouldn't have to mean quite so much.

The grey fill in «BuA» should be at least as bright as TAZ-Lan 2009, IMO.

Yeah, I'm aware of that... but the font colors they had to choose from on the site didn't match the logo and I didn't feel like tweaking it right then... hence 'quickie' ;) ;)

The real question is should we actually put "Taz Lan 2009" on there... or leave it more generalized and send them out to the folks that can't make it this year? After all... I think this idea was started by Meat YEARS ago

Personally I'm not a hat guy but I like Boney's interpretation. I dont think it would look that bad on a t-Shirt with a few more things added either

Yes, your correct. Here's the thread. http://forums.beyondunreal.com/showthread.php?t=158044
However unlike them damn Canucks, I will follow through with Hats.:lol:
If someone wants to do T-Shirts thats OK with me but I will be doing hats (My Treat). I still would like to use the TAZ-LAN idea to glorify the actual event however a nice BuA Logo would work as well. These of course would be offered to "Active" members. I was planning on 10 Hats.

Let me know what the deal is so I can get them ordered.
