Guys, as much as I want to be a black sheep, I can see where NT is coming from. I think he's referring to all the mutie talk on the GD servers lately, especially concerning strafewhorenomore. I was on when they first uploaded it on the server, and all it got was negative reviews. People were complaining that the bleeding was bad because you couldn't heal it. They didn't even give the mutator a chance - it was JUST uploaded, and everyone was complaining about the fact that you needed to load bandages in your loadout.

It seems awfully contradictory to say that everyone wants realism, but then when something as realistic as that is attempted to be implemented, they just biatch about how it's annoying. Yes, bleeding, IRL, is annoying.

As an interesting side note, it seems that whatever Duke (and the now lost Toad) does/did will face harsh, tactless criticism while other muties are generally spoken of with great civility, even if there are flaws.

Anyway, I could go on and on and rip into several people, but that'd take too much of my time. I apologize if this is NOT what NT is referring to, but it's what I saw when I read his post.

I just realized that I am defending a complaint about RATIONALITY on the forums. I'm a fukkin' dumbass, ignore this post.

Being able to dress a bullet wound on your own like that is pretty unrealistic (to do it properly at least). Also, the fact that 5 seconds after you start to apply the bandage, you're 100% combat effective? Also silly. It should take at least 45 seconds.

This system brings INF closer to "Urban Terror" if you ask me (and that game sucked the balls).

Personally, I think bullets should do more damage. Problem solved.

If I do it "properly" as you put it would be even more annoying. Also when we play, we generally don't care what happens to other players. The feeling is a little different in a real situation. You must have a limit, or at least build on the steps slowly.

You didn't exactly state your opinion as such when you were critisizing it in the game. It more amounted to, "Wow, this sucks. It really sucks. Take it off, it sucks."

In any case, then why biatch about the bandages at all? Just sit there and bleed to death, fine by me.

I don't like the idea of bandages either, mainly because I think that when you actually NEED it you shouldn't be fighting anymore, anyway.

But other than that, come on. People bitch, "even" you... NT. It's not a problem untill you make it one.
