I feel pretty confident that I could do a good job of representing the interests of the UT99 clan and PUG match community as well as the more general interests of most UT fans. I have been an active member of numerous UT communities for years, I have played the games extensively, I have chatted with a great many UT players about these subjects, and I have a good understanding of the game's issues.

(I'm WHIPperSNAPper and I endorse this message.)

I am a longtime UT player / fan and you don't represent me.

And that makes you different from half the folks in this thread...how?

I even played UT (from 99) on a Mac and played it against other Mac users. So I qualify more than you, because I can also represent the Mac community.

EDIT: Just in case boogler isn't RO anymore and might answer: the second part of this post was NOT serious.

Well you can hardly represent people who only know your name in passing on the forums, so to that end the communities you do represent might not even be a majority of forum goers here or over at utforums.

I do believe there are things this game needs but its obvious that no matter what Epic do they will always be leaving a certain crowd out in the dark alittle. Theres simply not room for 3 Comp UT's and 4 Casual ones let alone people who wont play outside of gametypes so I do believe the biggest problem lies within the community itself and all this separation.

If you want to help WHIPperSNAPper thats where you are most needed, leave the design up to the people who know what they are doing. Now you might say but look how UT3 turned out, people might even agree, thing of it is Epic took that split up community split it more and even completely excluded portions by making it multiplatform. If we want Epic to push the PC angle we gotta show em what this community is made of instead of trying to pull the rug out from under them at every turn

P.S I think I blocked someones sig :p

People who play online multiplayer games offline in single-player against AI = wussies.

all the people who never went online with UT, which is a staggering number of people–like 50 percent of UT buyers never went online

Lol, ok dude, whatever.
