Reloading too fast

If you want some ideas as to what a standard (at least to reg forces) issue TV (tactial vest) can carry try the attached pdf or here.
And since we don't need water in INF we could carry 2 boxes for the Minimi on our hips. I'm not sure about the other ones for different roles (like the one for the M203.)

I do like the idea of dropping weapons/mags when hit in specific areas (ie arms.) Of course if we were to have that I'd like to get some slings ingame, so at least I won't drop my rifle (I suppose it'd end up in a "holstered" state.)

Edit: Heh pdf to large try here.

I would too love being able to snipe the pistol out of someone's hands, but i fear the reliability of the UT engine on collision detection (we are still talking old UT, right?)

1st, you are able to reload damned fast if you are trained, but it works fine during training, but what about combat? What about different stances and situations?
What about reloading speed while prone? Or if you run? If you run it should take damn long, or I would prefer not to be able to reload while running, only walking, cuz I think that would be more realistic. If you move crouched it´s harder, to reload, such as aim, so while crouch you should reload only while being still.

Psychomorph, id like to point out that most new weapons though not all, but weapons such as the sig and mp5, have systems for attaching magazines on to each other to save reloading time, unfourtently this also adds weight to the weapon.

It shouldn't be impossible to reload while running. It had been done many times.

I was trianed to do it (unofficially) by my mastercorporal. At first it's weird. I got the hang of it real quick. If your trying to put the mag back in the pouch, you'll be dicking around for quite a while. I slammed it in my left leg pocket and reloaded while sprinting on a section attack. (With Kudos from my section commander :D) It's possible. I've seen this said mastercorporal reload an m249 on the fly real quick. A well trained soldier is a beautiful thing

I would say keep the realoding even while sprinting, in INF it looks very cool. It only should take some more time the faster you move.
