Gay people were here long before you. They were here when straight people were here and they will be around when me and you are dust.

I think if you grew up around gay kids, had gay friends and gay family members you might know a thing or two what gay people actually think about being gay.

I simply do not understand what the big deal is. To me...ragging on gay people is about the same as being racist to "colored" folks. To me the two things are both part of the bigger problem of intolerance and prejudice.

Anyway, what does gayness have to do with creationism...to try to revive the topic

They also believe god is infallible. But If God created people who were gay and being gay is wrong then didnt god just make a big oopsie?

Christians believe that God gave human beings free will to make their own choices and alot of people, who may or may not be Christian, think that being gay is a choice. Therefore, as a choice it is considered a bad one. That's how they rationalize it anyway. The think these people "choose" to be gay and therefore "choose" to be evil. That's how it works MPP, it has nothing to do with God. He'll create Good people and bad people just the same, according to the faith.

Anti-gayness in America is caused by religion, hands down. If you take away all the sin crap and religious references, the only thing people seem to say about it in personal taste standards is that "It's gross!" (as if they are the ones having gay sex) or "it's unnatural!" (like any of these people know anything about nature).
