Releasing the next version of infiltration

I disagree. Creating just a weapons mod, means that there will be tons of annoying punks that complain everytime SS puts more realism into the game. --- Which is what happened with UT INF.

While it doesn't need to be perfect (we are all very eager for a release), I think it would be better if SS's first release gave a good indication of the kind of realism they want ingame. I would hate to take a step backward in realism going from UT:INF to HL2:INF.

INF team must do a DEMO, with ONE map, with gameplays, models, guns... showing what INF is... and what will be using Source.

i remember the first time playing natural selection mod, the alpha release was a very good presentation.

Simple small changes over relatively small periods of time is right. A LOT of feedback is good.

Seconded. And thirded and fourthed if that's okay. Making a mod is not the same as making a retail product...it's *okay* to have lots of small steps.

Thats how it always work. Give us some rifles, bodies and few maps and it's all good. No mission needed, just TDM to feel the game.

No, no, no, I highly disagree. Not always soldiers (or similar) fight and have some CD to steal (lol). Sometimes they just overrun the enemy force, they minimize them untill they give up and fall back. I call it 'Battle'.

Two primal game modes, 'Mission' and 'Battle' (TDM Like, but with limitted respawn, maybe map domination by your force, ...).

My bet is ss won't release a public demo, they already have modding exp so no need for small steps. I'm not saying this is what i want tho.
