The Mad: 6/10

Brain dead and pretty hilarious in some spots. Hell anything with killer meat paddies in it deserves at least a couple of points. Billy Zane must be going back to B movies because this one is pretty recent.

Would've given the movie more points had it not been for a certain element...

the intruder...didn't like that bit.

Loved the ending.
Heck, a journey to the sun to reignite it... pure science fiction ...madness..but I don't mind. Crazy world out there anyway.

Pixar does it again. The introduction sequence is probably one of the strongest things they've ever done. The talking dog collars had me in hysterics for pretty much the entire latter half of the film. Bravo. There's really no other group of animators that spin the quality of stories Pixar does. This animation is for everyone, unlike the niche stuff I see elsewhere (see dreamworks, most anime). The Disney features that come up on the previews before every Pixar movie I watch always seem so flat and out of touch (they're still integrating obscure 90s era slang and minority stereotypes into their "characters", and Dreamworks seems to be stuck on the same loop). They must be counting their lucky stars they were able to buy Pixar back.

Night of the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian - 4/10

Ugh. That was pretty cotton dry, and I wasn't even a fan of the first one. A lot of the "bickering" scenes with Hank Azaria and other characters was pretty cringe worthy, but overall there wasn't very much to talk about. The only thing that kept my interest was Amy Adam's lower half in those flight pants. But then of course her character would talk...

Just rewatched it for the umpteenth time. Love it everytime.

Good man! :)

I just watched;

Transporter 3
Mroe or less as i expected and entertained me as much as i was hoping so i'd say a not bad film and they wisely more-or-less skipped on the gratuitous sex scene this time round.
So yay for mindless british violence.

Incredible. Depressing at times but then it becomes uplifted again (no pun). The squirrel thing had me rofling, especially
when they did it a second time.
Very touching stuff, had my eyes watering on multiple occasions. What more needs to be said? Pixar deserves all the praise that it gets. Go see it!

I'm a bit saddened that there wasn't an original short in the beginning like we had with Wall-E.

Absurd movie. Normally this type of humour doesn't really do it for me, but the right people were selected for the right parts. Jim carrey and tea leoni= good team.

Superman returns: 8/10

Third time I watched this movie, and I love it even more. I think Bryan singer handled this really well. My favourite parts are when he saves the shuttle/airplane, charging up above the clouds, hanging in the thin layers of the atmosphere listening to everything below, the "eye" scene etc.
Kevin spacey is a good lex luthor btw.

I really don't understand why so many people hate this movie. It's at least as good as Iron Man in my opinion - better, even.

I was one of the people who wasn't that jazzed about Superman Returns. I mean...when it started I was all overloaded with nostalgia and that was really awesome. But Overall I wasn't very captivated by it. I would not say it was a bad movie...but it wasn't terribly exciting. I didn't like the new Superman guy (what did he have like four lines in that thing? He had just as many in Zack and Miri Make a Porno and he was actually in a funny scene) and as much as I have a hard on for Spacey I didn't really dig him as Lex. But then again I haven't seen a true Lex Luthor done on film (Hackman was hysterical...but he was hysterical because he was Hackman). Lois Lane pretty much sucked. She was on downers the whole time. And I know something is wrong with a superhero movie when I'm yawning through the "action" scenes. I will say that the kryptonite continent was a real cool idea, and when I think of that movie that is the one thing that really stands out.

Sunshine- 8/10

I enjoyed watching this again. Take a bit of 2001: A Space Odyssey and throw in a little of Alien and you end up with something that is way better than Event Horizon .

I agree, its a pretty good movie. The music score is also awesome :)

I just logged on to say that myself as I forgot to mention it in my original post. :)

The music is excellent in Sunshine and really makes the film.

The film also has a touch of Silent Running about. A good flick.

.... also Dark Star. Stellar bombs.

The Boondock Saints - 9.5/10

Excellent movie, with an awesome ending. I can't quite give it a 10 though, because I feel that the movie could have been a little bit longer, mainly due to the way it ends...
