PuF skins?

Is anyone going to make a set of PuF skins/models ?

Y'know what would be good? If someone's already been doing a PuF skin. We could then use it for this challenge match against this other forum.

Errrr......that guy can do some good work but who the hell is going to pay him to do us a custom skin? Wow, it aint cheap. We might do better to find a dedicated PuF'er who dosent mind doing it just for status. Having said that if we do this we should do it RIGHT, even if that means spending the money. Personally I would LOVE to see a PuF skin based on a model built just for us. Maybe I'm just dreaming..

I'm not exactly an artist, but I will attempt to create a skin for us PuFers. I *finally* got my photoshop4/5 cd from my friend, and I should be able to find Painter3d somewhere on the internet. I can't guarantee anything, but I might as well give it a shot. Perhaps several of us can contribute work to the skin, so that when we finally do have one it is a collaberation of efforts of not only one person, but the entire forum /~unreal/ubb/html/redface.gif)

Alright you all this may sound crazy but im really thinking about having the guy at the place Lizard of Oz told me about do the PuF skins!
i would actually pay for them my self!
but it aint cheap, but he does a great job!
i have one of his skins that he did for another clan.
this is how things go for him:

Clanset: The first skin of a clanset will always be unique so will cost £50. Further variations upon the same theme (other clanmembers) will cost £10 per new skin.

eg. Clan Wamphyre wants a skin for each of its 9 members. The first costs £50 and the 8 others costs £80 (10 each). The whole set will cost 50+80 = £130

so what do you all think?

I think that it looks like he does *very* good work. I was considering paying myself when I went to the site but then I remembered that I am still trying to work DSL into my budget, so really couldn't afford to pay for a skin. If you're willing though then go for it.

Very very good choice! Blue and yellow, like the forum/site colors. I get it now.

Only problem would be getting servers to get the skin, or else we would all show up as green "blobs" in multiplayer games.

I think that the colors here and on the PuF page (plug: http://www.go.to/PuF ) are the best colors, but I'm not sure which model it would be best to go with. I do like boss skins (even though I play with Necris) and I think that they can get customized quite a bit. Go to Painful Detail and look through the skin screenshots that are there, see if you can think of a general idea of what you would like to see in a skin.

Humm, I like the Commando Model myself, havent seen any skins based on this and I'm sure he could do a kick *** skin for it. PLEASE dont use the Soldier model, talk about overkill. If not the Commando then Necris or Boss.

Heres an idea:

Instead of having PuF (or maybe in addition to) Why not have the Planetunreal logo on the model! Your know, the planet with the guy on it with a ring around the whole thing..if it isnt infringeing or anything. Like maybe on his chest or back, that would look VERY cool.

Hmm something similar to Liz's idea, but using the Xan or War Machine model. Have that logo you described on the back with the PuF logo Liz did on the left breastplate.

i had an idea of having a PuF skin 2 weeks ago..... but not many ppl cared
