Gay women are fuggly.
Except the Big titted blond that wanted me to give her money, after she showed me her titties.
Dam, she was a hot lesbian.

No no, all I did was take it to a point where you didn't agree with your own argument.
As to why people care, well that's part because we are humans and we live in a society. Therefore whatever goes on in that society affects us in some way, so we care.
And why do you think it sounds stupid in plain English?
Right, so your reading compression skills all of a sudden went to zero again? What a pity.

Constitutional experts disagree with your sad misinterpretation of the document.

I don't care about this particular discussion, I didn't spend more than a minute reading. What I mean is that the Economist - both articles and comments - is very influencial and worthwhile to followNick the first isn't right there. Circumventing the people has been done several times in the last 100 years. Its not about acceptance, its about time, the public education system and going routes that can't possibly be overturned. With time and teaching your view at the schools you will gain acceptance Its never going to be perfect because brainwashing is never perfect, but it will work well enough.

I'll take a picture of the next raccoon I take care of; just for you
You can decide whether it's love or not.
Those two "random" experts are GOP sweetheart Ted Olson and David Boies (president of his college's Young Republicans). Can I put up random pictures of experts too? Try reading the quote of the admendment you posted and think what is being abridged. Ok?

Both are renowned constitutional lawyers. Working together, and armed with the 14th Amendment, they successfully challenged "Prop 8".
So your misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment means nothing to me. I've read it many times, and agree with the experts; it is absolutely applicable.
I contend that polygamy leads to other more complex legal issues such as medical power of attorney. Of course we could turn marriage into a complex legal negation and contract signing ceremony to compensate.
Otherwise I'm cool with polygamy. Let it be.
