yep, especially cool when in the hospital, with chronic lung failure... that white gown they give you really complements the paleness you'll have at the time... and those respirator masks are so in these days

I know if my neighbors said something I would walk away from the building before lighting up(not likely as my neighbors smoke right in their apartment). But you should really let the dude know you can't stand the smoke and haze, and if he sneers in contempt, then you can snuff'em right in the earlobe.

I smoked cigs for 10 years and quit 5 years ago. I was smoking almost 2 packs a day.
Why did I quit? My kids begged me to stop.
I can't expect my kids to respect me as a father and listen to me tell them how to take care of themselves by not smoking, if I am setting a bad example for them to start with.

I don't smoke, but I have once or twice tried it, and couldn't quite understand how people get addicted to them. I once had a cigar on a holiday with friends, although it had to be smoked outside the caravans, which I therefore did. I think quite a few other things were smoked that week as well.
I have only ever smoked when I have been drunk. I didn't find it bad at the time, and there was none of the coughing or anything I expected, but the morning after felt like a cheese grater had been shoved down my throat. I've since stopped the drunken smoking...the liver damage is enough for me.

I avoid being around smokers as much as I can. If there's an area where smoking is allowed I'll probably do anything to avoid it. ****ing stench, I hate it.

And I want as little as possible to share it with them. I care about my health. They don't, that's their problem. All I ask is that they keep it in private smoking areas and respect non smoking signs.

But I'll probably have smoking neighbours then anyway.
