on 50,000 pounds per year over whatever money a job nets, I could live very comfortably. Or I could reinvest the interest for a while (say, oh two decades) and retire early, with a #@%$-load of money for the rest of my life.

From there on out, I could spend money like water, but it would keep rolling in. Wahahahahahaa!!!!!!!

At a rough exchange rate where a million pounds is a million and a half dollars, then I could invest the dough and never work again... anyone who can't live off of $75k a year is doing something wrong.
