ODIE3's Ghost Dogs Server

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

ODIE3, could you post the URL of the re-direct site. I am unable to find several maps on combatmaps.de that are on the GD server (EAS-INF-Randomi.unr, EAS-INF-DS-VentureFIX2.unr, EAS-INF-Sabriyah][BETA2.unr, EAS-INF-Brikby.unr, there are probably others). Since the re-direct doesn't work with my system, I need to get the maps directly and combatmaps.de doesn't seem to have the versions on GD.

Hmm, strange. I re-put those files into the pack (BTW, the version no longer changes) and I uploaded it again.

I checked the date/time what is in the server to the date/time of the files (XM8/Compass) and they are in sync.

Let me know it this one causes issues.

There seems to be some files missing from the current mutie pack because I get a message about missing file 'dukeADDHUD'. I do have both the dukeADDHUD.u and dukeADDHUD.int files in my UT System directory.

UT_Compass version mismatch

-Also, doesn't show up when Is search for the cache file. Cache.ini says it's there, but when I run a search, windows finds nothing.

GD is running 7b which is the newest version (I think). I just deleted my UTCompass cache and it downloaded and I conntect to the server without error.

Server UTCompass.u Date Stamp 03/30/2004

Also, check you ut/system directory for the UTCompass.u file

All I have is the UTcompass.ini no ".u" file for some reason. Also...err..it's not in my cache somehow. Should I just delete the .ini and manually install the new version?

I would first do a Windows Search on you UT directory (be sure to check search Sub-Directoies too) for UTCompass.u

There are two ways to get a mis-match.
1. The UTCompass.u is somewhere in you UT install
2. The redirect D/L UTCompass.u.uz file is not the correct version to what the server server is using.

Since I doubled checked the redirect D/L I would think it is somewhere in your UT folder.

If when you connect to the GD server and you go strange to a UTCompass Mis-Match that also would tell me it is install somewhere in UT directories. So give the windows search a try (assuming that you are running windows).

edit
Installing the file *could* correct the issue but you just end up with a mis-match later when a new version comes out...
