Don't know if I'll be out and about tomorrow, but if I am, I'll go have a look @ the EB near the house.

Went to 3 different stores (including EBgames) and the cheapest I found it for was 49.95...

Lurk, are you sure you looked on the right rack? EBGames.com still has it for $19.99. You even get some cheap-ass cheat code that gives you $1,000 to start, which is a piece of cake to win in the first place. Check it out here. As I said in an earlier post, I saw it at my local store for the same price, so if worse comes to worse, you want me to pick it up for you? They had plenty of copies.

Taz, the current release date for Most Wanted is Nov. 1, 2005 for PS2 and XBOX, and sometime in Q4 2005 for the PC. Which basically means it could be the same day or later in the month or even in December. Oh, well. In the meantime, you might as well get your racing moves down pat. :p

In the meantime beat that Time I just posted. Level 3 that car and show us what you got. I know BC could beat it but what about the rest of you hacks??

I spent about 45 minutes looking through the used and new titles... it wasn't until I got to Gamespot that I found it, where it was listed for $50.
Hell, I even went to Walmart... you would be surprised @ how much sh*t Wally World no longer has... PC games used to have their own section... now they only have a 24 ft. shelf in the gaming aisle. :(

Well, Lurk, if you use that link I posted above (which, by the way, resolves to a page with the same price as in the link you posted), you can pick it up for $19.99 and use EB Saver shipping for $1.99 for a grand total of $21.98. I don't know about you but in MD the sales tax rate is 5% so on a $20 title, I would already pay $1 in tax. If it's higher than that by you, you might as well pick it up online. You would save money on gas. :D

So Lurk, what's the story, dude? Are you gonna order this? I think I am just going to stop by EBGames on my way home, since it is a block from my bank. If you need me to pick one up, I wouldn't mind, but it would cost ya more on the shipping....

Shiit!! Beat it by 2 seconds. I knew you would.. That Corolla can haul some arse. You think we could eventually beat the 4:40 mark? If we worked as a team I bet we could. I notice that the first lap is the slowest. If you could Draft me on the start to build up a suffiecint amont of NOS. Then you should be able to get the Top Speed before the Big Turn and maintain it all the way around. Just a thought.. Oh well gives me something to shoot for.. LOL

That would be known as cheating, taz. Although on the first lap I do stay on the outside of the first turn with all the ooponents and draft them, gets me up to speed quicker AND build up NOS. It could turn out to be difficult because those bastards get in your way all the time  (which is why I had to try twice).

Hold it steady and make those tight corners, I even hit a wall on the last lap which is why its slower than lap 3. But ANYWHO. 4:40 is a little far fetched but I'm sure we can get a little closer. :D

They always wreck my arse when I follow them on the outer loop or just get in the way. I very seldom get by cleanly. Going to give it a few shots and see what I get.

DAmn, thats a tough time to beat. I got 4:48.66 or some crap like that. I was doing good until last lap, misjudged turn and knicked the wall. I have to get a better first lap somehow.
