geeeezz......ummmmmm....well I'm honored. But I'm also a bit stuck as to who to pick for the roster, especially since I play so few games with the PuFers these days, being so busy.

And truth be told my heart is really in TDM, so if we think we can get a full 8 people to play, then we can put together a 4vs4 TDM. But a CTF would rock too

Plus I dunno if everyone has gotten a chance to vote.....you guys REALLY want me to be Captain?

Troll, you are a natural for a captain. You have been doing a great job organizing ]LoL['s TDM squad, and you did such a good job with the GTF v PuF thingy.

I couldn't organize a one man parade.

Also, you have the skills to be on an allstar team (and to be the captain). I have yet to win a 1on1 against anyone, ever!

I am totally overwhelmed, and totally honored. If y'all really want me to give this a shot, I will do my best.

But with all these great players to choose from, I really don't want to limit myself to a four on four. Don't servers allow 32 players? Lets do a 16 on 16 DOM lagfest.

Seriously though, I'll go with the flow, as far as how many players, or if it is TDM or CTF or DOM (that is why I'm not a good captain, I don't take charge. I just go with the flow). But DOM would be fun, since none of us really do it, our fragile egos won't be hurt if we lose.

Well, I'm gonna let some more people reply to this thread, and see what everyone wants to do here. But I am available to *gulp* captain a team if that is what y'all want. I will not be offended if you guys sober up and realize what a ridiculous idea that would be.

We should do this on Small's server and enable the naked skins from that pr0n server I found (ummm, I mean the server WAnk found, yeah WAnk must have found it ).

I have to say that I definitely would be a bad choice for captain as I haven't played with many of you guys and girls lately. It seems Troll is well respected and others think Troll would be a good captain. So, that is my vote too.

I really would like to get involved some way this time (I seem to miss all the others! I probably wouldn't be a good spec with my ISDN connection now. If nobody wants me on their team I'd like to get a DOM or AS All-Star game going at the same time.

Someone else put it well...none of us play either DOM or AS that much and it would be sort of fun to throw us off our usual CTF/DM paces.

Open to ideas, here!

DOM would be sweet...

I haven't really played any DOM since I started CTF, but it's a really fun GameType, and I think it would be a blast to play. It combines the best of TDM and CTF. If we're voting on GameType, I vote DOM...and if not...we should have some DOM games anyways...

yeah, last time i played DOM:
15 bots + myself. 200 points on one of the levels (don't remember). i was bored. turned out to be a fragfest with bots. DOM is really good. i just would rather play CTF when online (maybe when i'm back to 24h/d connection i'll play some DOM online.

i guess the captains are chosen. when will this be played? i might want to spec (not like i'm good enough to play).

LOL, I guess AS does teach you some sneaky stuff, piston jumping, sniping, spawn killing, grenade lobs, group attacks, sneaky round the corner ripper shots etc. But I think Troll and BOOM! would be better captains. Although I'll happily play for either side, as long as Im not expected to get nekkid

Between WAnk with his custom avatar of a pooping llama (which I just noticed), and Boom's "naked skins/team colours" comments, I'm roflmao right now.

I'd still like to see another 5v5 ctf personally. There'd be some amazing skills to be seen in a demo, versus a bunch of guys fragging each other doing what they don't know on strange maps.
