hey klasnic i have a kool idea. if you would like to do it. get the best models people made(with the makers permission of course.) and do like the evilution pack but with custom models. instead of the offical skins. i think that would be kool. like antix from unipychos. and others. jus an idea.

Yup Wigglez. Originally after EVILution I was gonna' skin a custom model just for something new to do. I'll most likely do some custom model skins as my next project after XL. I wanna' skin Deinonychus (Raptor), Monstar, Magdalena, Droideka, Soria and maybe a few others (can't remember)...

These'll be separate skins and not a pack though as some ppl won't want some models or whatever...

Once I've finished XL I'll contact the authors and hopefully get permission

Kouryuu? Everything and anything is possible - I love the model and the way it's done... It really would suit my way of skinning but Hide already done a great job. You never know though *watch this space*

Meanwhile, I've re-done a little texturing and t/c's on Cadmus the first in the XL pack and have made up a new promo too...



I'm gonna re-do the others somewhat too so I'll post updates as I have them!

Nice change with the textures. They may not be large but they give it a more intense look. Though I have one question, will these new color panels flash on and off?

Some effects run through, some flash on and off and move around too - It's a lot more complicated than anything I tried previously. The robot's really cool! On the second in the pack the eyes flash on and off - little things like that - Don't wanna' give too much away. Should have the final pic of the second (Allatu) later on once I've got her done

ITs the little things that count. ExileII is up on Skincity and have you seen the Ne Kai GMK skin, that 1 is nice.

Yup just noticed - congrats to Charger! Ne Kai looks pretty cool too - have to take a look yet... I skinned a GMK doing EVILution but dumped it out of the pack (with a few others)... I might do some more with them at some stage too

The only reason I mentioned Ne Kai was because I did some help testing it for the guy on the official board. Its nice skin and it looks great but the TCs are the best, they differ a lot from the normal skin.

Maybe Ne_Kai is worth a shot? I'll give it a spin and Klasnic the effects you've done on that latest pic I really like those especially on the stomach it looks quite cool.

If you could have a bit of that effect on some others in the skin pack and if it fits it would be great!

Else it's still looking awesome.

I'll take the Exile II for a spin but it looks a bit dark on the pics.

I had a proper look at Ne Kai and you guys are right the tc's are well done. It's a nice skin too (original)... Clanlord will be included in XL just haven't started him yet... Unlike the other skin packs I've done I may not stick with a common theme (all gold characters) and might do four in one theme and four in another as I've skinned another in a completely different style (pic later). Either that or make two skin packs Then again calling it XL means it's gonna' be xtra large hehe

It could be different to see a skin pack not just with one theme. Can't say if it's a good idea I need something to attach different themes together to see if it could fit in one package else you might have to seperate them. Don't know.

But then again 'XL' says that it is large and not anything about it should be somewhat the same theme

Last night I took a look at Ne Kai and I must admit it's quite cool and with multiple shaders it kicks it up a notch. The TC's is somewhat better IMO.

Well what is the other theme? 2 themes can work well if they relate, counter or the title matches with the the idea of a mulitple theme pack(opinion). Also this is meant to be a large pack so the likelyhood of it being one theme doesn't necessarily come through.

Set them up so they have a new "race" type each, then you'll have one skinpack with two teams ready to compete against each other in any of the team games, it makes sense! I mean either team could play on either side but that doesn't matter, i sometimes make teams of specific races or so!

Good idea With Evilution they were all a race called Klasnic-Corp so maybe I could divide it into two. My thinking behind doing one that doesn't have one theme is that Epic's default skins don't have a theme - If I was to do a best of... there wouldn't be a common theme. Maybe I'll just wait and post that pic later on, then see what you guys suggest.

I suggest putting up some screens! Well for an actual suggestion- I would agree that you should do 2 teams but you should make them opposites(design) and rivals.
